Tupac’s Mom said Eminem was the only one involved that didn’t want anything from her. In fact, he was the only one who did it all for free. He also hand wrote a beautiful letter to her (talking about Pac’s influence on him in music, and what he meant to him) and did this incredible drawing of Tupac and sent it to her, asking for her blessing to make the track, and that he was honored to do so. She stated publicly, that out of all the people who were involved, his were the only motives that were pure, genuine and only wanting to pay homage not to get something for themselves. Tupac’s Mom loved Eminem. He also did all that and never said he did. It was Pacs Mom that later revealed all this and showed the letter and drawing. To be that good hearted, that respectful, that pure of motive, so humble that he didn’t even announce what he did to gain public praise, well that’s on another level of good intentions.
💯✌️🎶🎶🔊
Em also made Ghetto Gospel with some of Pac’s verses with Elton John and didn’t take credit for it. I Love the Song Ghetto Gospel.
@@dandieabbott5409 hell yeah righteous song beautiful work
here's one for you
The 8 Mile soundtrack featured Nas and Jay-Z, both of which rhymed over beats that Em made... From what I understand he made them each a beat and gave it to them so that hopefully they would honor all of us with their art on that album
And if I'm not mistaken that was the first album they performed on together since all that shit went down between them.. 🤯
Though considered the goat. He will always be a student of the game. (hip-hop) I love how he always mentions/ shouts out, A lot of pioneers in hip-hop and, stoked that the pioneers he's mentioned, think great of him, and place him up there! Up there with them, if not higher🫶🏽🙏🏽💪🏽🔥💯
I wasn't aware Em produced that. You know, that might make for a fun series of reactions. Reacting to songs that most people didn't know were produced by Eminem.
Bet
Oh yeah I’ve always known this everybody SHOULD know like this is what made me realize how he’s such a genius. This is huge.
Oh s***! You're right! I would love to see that too. YO STEVIE! MAKE THIS A THING PLEASE
This would be dope af
Been saying this a while. Not enough attention on this
He produced the whole album and didn't take even a cent for it. Did it completely free and for that got a 2Pac rhyme book and thank you letter from Afeni
Eminem also drew a portrait of Tupac and sent it along with a letter to Afeni! He thanks Afeni for letting him produce this album!
Em produced Ghetto Gospel too, it's Elton John on the chorus while Pac raps on it, a beautiful song that made me cry when i heard it the first time !
You say what now? Now that’s a jam jam. Anyway o don’t doubt Eminem’s ear as a producer.

Em produced Ghetto Gospel. Actually he produced a whole album. He even asked Pac's mother for permission and put her as a producer on the album.

I can’t believe people don’t know that Em is the one who produced this?! I’ve been always known and tried telling that to people who dismiss his contribution to hip hop. some people not realizing that Eminem is their favorite rapper's favorite rapper.
Yeah, Eminem is an insanely underrated producer.
Aside from producing a significant portion of his own discography, he also produced like 90% of 2Pac's Loyal to the Game album. Practically half of Obie Trice's tracks. Countless 50 Cent Bangers (Many Men, High All The Time, Poor 'Lil Rich, Patienty Waiting, Don't Push Me, I'm Supposed to Die Tonight, Gatman and Robbin', Ski Mask Way...)
As well as:
- 2Pac - Ghost
- Jay-Z - Moment of Clarity & Renegade
- Nas - The Cross
- G-Unit - My Buddy & I'm So Hood
- Lloyd Banks - On Fire
- Fat Joe - Lean Back (Remix)
- The Game - We Ain't
- The Notorious B.I.G.- It Has Been Said
- Tony Yayo - Drama Settler
- Akon - Smack That
- Young Buck - Lose My Mind
- Yelawolf - Best Friend / Let's Roll / In This World etc.
- Royce da 5'9" - Legendary
& so many more.
You mean one of my favorites from book of Ryan? Damn I never knew 😍
Some of my favorites are Lloyd Banks - till the end , and warrior part 2, lil scrappy - lord have mercy

@Jimmy Valmer what you mean what what the guy up their said is true.
Hard work pays off. Marshall shows you that he's worked hard, put in all his time to hip hop he loves it, he lived it, eats it, breathes it. He shows you anybody can get what they want with hardwork.
People who hate on Eminem I've always noticed that they ALWAYS have someone they 'Hate'....he is just a temporary target for their own insecurity, then they move onto the next one.
I've noticed the biggest Em haters typically fall into 1 of 3 lanes. Either (1) They're young and grew up with trap and the new generation of rappers, (2) they used to love him but freaked out and got majorly triggered when he spoke about Trump (no hate if you like Trump, I don't give a shit, just witnessed this happening a lot first hand) and suddenly went from full Stan to saying MGK had the better diss lol, or (3) they genuinely know nothing about hip-hop and have no real stake in the game but hop on whatever hate-bandwagon they can find because they follow people who talk shit about him.
@@amphibeingmcshpongletron5026 Idk about that. Eminem is a great rapper, but dude doesnt make good music anymore. Always good listens on youtube, when you go the lyrics in front of you, and feel like breaking down some bars, but Dude dont make music you can just jam in the car. His hooks are almost always terrible on my ears too. At least anything post 2002.
@@chrisstyles5955 I can respect that opinion. I was just talking about the actual "biggest Em haters" though. People who actively hate on him and say his music's trash, in general, as opposed to just not digging his new stuff. I don't consider that hating as much.
For example: my cousin, who used to love Em until he commented on Trump in the BET cypher. Now, he won't even listen to his old stuff and considers his music trash now, all from an opinion. I don't bump his newer stuff in the car either (I did with Kamikaze for a bit), but still admire his talent, even today.
Damn I never knew that.. It makes so much sense too that Eminem produced this. The sound of the beat, the gunshots and sound effects, but damn I never knew that. Fire 🔥
Em is music - love it. Love how Stevie little by little started apriciateing Em as a hip-hop artist.
eminem produced almosat allll of 2pacs music after he died.. look at all the credits. dre had him working !!!
Honestly I've always been a big hip hop and Eminem in particular, and I listened to that song hundreds of times before I realized that Eminem produced it a couple years ago, Eminem has done more for hip hop than most of the people that slander him
The fact that you'll watch interviews and then you'll usually go and check out the songs the people in the interview were talking about so you can get a better understanding is so dope. It's the little things like that that make your Chanel different 🔥
Damn even as a longtime Stan I’ve never known he did this beat?? This one of my favorite PAC and Biggie songs too 😂💯I knew there was a reason I loved the beat 🔥
Man, you gotta accept that there will always be Em haters. It’s fine, let them hate, whatever there reasons are. It doesn’t effect fans who really know what’s up. People in general would feel a lot lighter if they dropped hate. Speaking from experience.
Em is so underrated as a music producer. Like there's soooo many iconic songs on TES and MMLP whose beats Eminem produced. There's a reason he's the greatest to ever do it.
Even Kanye who is regarded as a all time great producer by many, has given Em credit as a producer and wanted to steal his drum sounds at one point haha
The Way I Am!

Eminem produced Jay-Z's Moment of Clarity...one of Jay-Z's hardest song in my opinion
Eminem Vs. Black Thought - If you know anything about hip hop, that's the ultimate battle.
You're so great for hanging in there with the rest of us! LOL I mean, I know you ain't no Stan, but you're real, and ain't afraid to stand by what's obvious, no matter what others might wanna make of it. Much respect!! 💯💯❤️❤️❤️
What's obvious is nobody really hates Eminem. That's the false premise Stevie running with to attack his own people but you'll likely never meet anybody that actually hates Em. They may not listen to his music out of personal preference but the only person that really hates him is Benzino.
@@leroygreen6310 you must have not been reading comments there are alot of people hating because he is white saying he don’t belong in hip hop

Believe Em produced that whole album
I've seen all of Stevie's videos, and this is in contention for my favorite! Stevie standing up for Em warms my heart. And the reverence Em shows when talking about Pac and Biggie is undeniable. If you're indulging in the division, and cats like Mouse and Benzino have shaped your view of Em...maybe it's time to let that toxic sht go.
Fact : how can somebody hate this genius???❤
Eminem produced Tupac loyal to the game my favorite Tupac album
Im so glad that i grow up during the 90s. Getting to hear all that great music when it came out. I got in to hip-hop/rap around 94 just before the boys died. And i remember listening to Eminem before he hit it big. My cousin used to bring me Underground music every time he came for the summer.
Eminem music was good in the beginning now he's wack
I first listened to Em when I dubbed a tape of him at the rap Olympics. I didn't even know it was him, then I started listening to the two albums my dad had of him when they first dropped. Slim Shady LP and the Marshall Mathers LP. To be honest, I don't remember ever giving my step-dads Marshall Mathers LP CD back to him lol
I’ve always been sad I wasn’t born earlier so I could see Queen play out in a stadium but I’m super grateful to have been a kid and a teen I the 80s and 90s to experience the birth of rap and grunge meet Chuck D and be blessed with great music!
@@shermanelder6813 so his music now goes over your head is what your saying. His flow and style now is not same it was I'll give you that. But his double, triple sometime quadruple entendres in his music just lift him above everyone. You ain't gonna hear it in club or throw it on at a party. But it's hip hop at the top level.

I can totally understand why someone who had a different life than me connects with another artist over Eminem... if they are in that life then it's speaking to them.
It really sucks that hiphop will never be as great as it was in the 90s. Thank god for Em for staying consistent with the quality of his art because at the end of the day it's just Em nowadays.
This is what haters will never understand about Em & his connection with his fan base. He created a bond early on, whether it was those who were Bullied, had a dead beat dad, addicted mom, toxic relationship etc.
Then going through addiction himself & over coming it.
His skills as an MC aren't ever questioned, even from haters, it's always "I can't relate"

Ohhh, you didn't know. 😁😁😁 It looks like a lot of y'all in the comments didn't know. I was so hyped when this album came out and not just because of more Pac content and the tribut but because of Em's production. This was right after we got to see him handle a whole album with The Eminem Show. Plus we got some features on it too. He handled it in a classy way and I was proud Em was intrusted and delivered.
I head that track so many times and never knew em produced! Wtf
Steve
Em produced the entire Loyal to the game album after getting permission from Pac's mom. She gave him the unfinished projects/cuts and he did his thing.
And oh, he also worked his magic on the resurrection joint.

EM a goat bro people don’t realize how good of a producer he is man
Man people sleep on em's production. Yeah this album is fire. Old pac on new Em beats.
Thanks Stevie for the video, EM is the biggest Ambassador/ Guard of the Culture
Content on your Channel is ahead of the pack. So many have no idea the extent of EMs talent. While l love Dre, I've always thought Dre received a lot of credit for songs EM actually produced 'back in the day'. But he's also produced and written for so many other artists ... he does it quietly, humbly. So many still refer to Renegade as Jay's, but it was actually EMs work. BTW really enjoyed your comparison between how you use to listen to EMs work to how you listen and "HEAR" now ... a lot of us can relate and its great to watch!

DaaaaaaaaaaaYam! I did not know Em produced this.. 🤯
You can hear the Dre influence in this beat
That connection really is the most important thing. Look at Michael Jackson for example. He wasn't a rapper, but as a pop/soul/funk artist the guy had lots of meaningful lyrics about himself and the human condition. It wasn't like modern day pop artists that just sing about random subjects.
Dwamn!! Never knew this, thanks for the knowlege stevie.
I thought everyone knew this, cuz i like his beats but very noticeable, HE "CARRY THE CROSS" BEAT ON NAS "GODS SON" ALBUM
Eminem also produced Akon's Smack That, which is a huuuuge hit.
He also wrote more of Dre's verses from 2001 than just Forgot About Dre. Check the credits. I won't spoil it.
But as a Demi-Stan, this whole anti-Eminem debate has all but destroyed my 30+ year love affair with hip hop.
People who hate Eminem always will, there's a lot of music media (chickens in coops) pushing the narrative; why bang my head against a wall?
You said Demi 'stan' , see his influence is literally everywhere
@@baki577 I'm saying I'm a demi-Stan as far as following him. I can't deny his influence. I wrote for years, which is part of why I started to listen less.
I have heard for at least 6 years off and on that Em will produce a full track, or simply produce the beat for various artists without any hype or demands of being praised for it. Heck, some artists have actually admitted that Em basically "gave me the beat" for free simply because he liked them and wanted them to see what they could do with it.
Now, I admit, some of these beats are really hit or miss. But the fact that Em would do this on the production side without any fanfare speaks volumes as to how much he really cares about the genre.
