I have the Smoke Sabre brand and used it to test the smoke alarms of my house. I originally bought it for a commercial smoke detector used on my mock fire alarm system

it really comes down to a game of chance. it depends what type of fire and what sensor you own (a lot of times it's a smoky fire)

according to the chairman of the first home detection code he says canned smoke does not work properly and can even damage your alarm

Its not that quick. You edited it. Any one watching watching, look at 2:34 it jumps.
It can take anything from 30 seconds to a minute for artificial smoke to activate a smoke alarm.

I want to know, at work station we carry out mock drills which ensures efficient working of the whole system.But we have nubers of smoke detectors in area and it is not practicable to cross check every one of them.What is the way out in such scenario??

Your video doesn't address testing smoke alarms with back-up batteries, replacing the batteries, or the possible interconnection to a home sprinkler system flow switch. You should make the title more specific to testing the detection chambers of home smoke alarms and mention that additional testing may be required to ensure the units proper operation.
