🌞 Morning Adventures
I woke up around 8 AM 🌅 just after crossing Durg. Although we didn’t stop there, it was a hot morning in Chhattisgarh. ☀️ If you missed the first day of our journey, including boarding the train and seeing the stations of Maharashtra, click the link in the description after watching this video! 🔗 Unfortunately, I couldn’t record Nagpur because we reached there at 4 AM and I was fast asleep. 💤
🚂 Train Spotting Highlights
🚉 Coming up: Chapra to Durg Sarnath Express
🕒 Entering Raipur around 8:30 AM, 8 minutes late ⏰, on the fifth platform. Also spotted the Bilaspur to Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express.
🍽️ Breakfast time! Mango juice 🥭, butter 🧈, 2 boiled eggs 🥚, and bread 🍞. You can ask for an omelet too!
🌇 City Stops and Sightseeing
🌆 Entering Bilaspur at 10:15 AM, 20 minutes late. Next stop: Jamshedpur at 4:10 PM. Remember, if you don’t opt for the meal, you’re skipping lunch because there are no intermediate stops! 🥪
🏙️ Passing Raigarh, though the Duronto doesn’t stop here. Check out my journey on the Azad Hind Express, which did stop here. 🔗
💡 Travel Tips
If you ask me, I prefer the Duronto over the Azad Hind Express any day because the latter is often rescheduled and delayed by 8 to 12 hours. The only plus side is its cheaper fare and its halt at Chakradharpur, closer to my hometown Chaibasa. 🏠
🌳 Nature and Speed
🚅 Briefly spotted the Rourkela Puri Vande Bharat Express.
🌧️ Passing through the natural beauty of Mahadevsal, enhanced during the monsoon. Many visit here to worship Lord Shiva 🙏.
🎢 Entering Chakradharpur at the speed limit of 130 km/h! Filming at this speed is challenging without a handle! Did you know I spent an entire night at Chakradharpur station filming trains? Check out that video after this one! 🔗
🏁 Journey’s End
