Dang i made almost state last year gor marching and symphony. you sound great. Also tip for marching. Don't worry about actually playing. Focus on marching. Because the better you can march (aka roll step) the easier it gets to play while marching. Also, your tone quality is great but i would focus on switching your fingers faster and harder to get a cleaner sound👍
@@FantasticFlute933 should I start posting content of me playing? Because I just learned; "Gusty garden medley" from "super Mario galaxy". It's got a very pretty flute solo.
Bro my high school doesn’t have a marching band and if you ever ask the band director why he goes on an endless rant about it and wastes the whole class period so kids will learn to stop asking him 😭
If you aren't already, get lessons with someone!!! Do what they say, trust me, they definitely know what they are doing!!! Practice daily, when possible. Hope that helps!!!
@@FantasticFlute933 Thanks! It's my first year too, but I’ve been mainly concerned about my sound for when we do concerts this year. I'll take a look into tone studies
@@FantasticFlute933 ohh exciting! ik you didn’t ask me but I’d be more than happy to share some of my tips. firstly- not to pass out: How? -Bring WATER (Ik it’s common sense but a lot of ppl bring gatorade, energy drinks, etc. and it doesn’t really help) second of all, bring a hat and sunglasses, trust, it’ll help you feel sm more cooler in the heat. also this is also a bit of common sense, but reapply your sunscreen! I remember my freshman year I only put it on before the day started and lemme tell you.. I was so tan by the end of the season 😭 if you have any questions feel free to ask.. but just have fun. yes it can be super tiring and hard at times but I promise in the end you’ll feel really good about everything
Oh sorry I didn’t see this but really just PRACTICE music so you have it memorized, it makes marching a lot easier if you don’t have to worry about music. Also just practice marching when ever you can!!!! Have fun cause I know you will!!!!!!
Sounds great🤞🏽
Thanks!
Its so annoying when composers put notes like E# or F double sharp instead of just putting the notes 😭
THAT IS SO TRUE😭

Sounds great, watch your intonation in the bottom register especially low E.
Thanks! I appreciate it! 😊
Dang, you're practice your music a lot more than me. I always get intimidated when I look at it. I've been procrastinating.
It's ok! Just try to procrastinate less, I know it is hard, but it will benefit you in the long run.
Thank you so much for watching!!! It makes me happy you chose to do so! Please subscribe and like, it would help me out a LOT!!! Thank youuu!!!
