The print shop tour guy is precious. I LOVE people who get really into something like that. You know that was the highlight of his day, getting to show off all the equipment he nerds out over. I fricking love that. Too bad he's not as into paper so he didn't have the recycled paper option you were looking for. Perhaps if you use his shop enough they'd consider having more paper options?
What a cool dude giving you a full tour like that tho. I know it wasn't what you wanted, but I love behind the scenes like that, especially from people so pumped about what they do.

100% agree with you Velcro Poodle. Almost sounded a bit snooty towards the guy. If you are very invested in having an in debt knowledge of where and how your products are been made I thought it would be a good thing to get a full hour tour no?

The gap between online print distributors and local/facility printers is so large and Leigh’s experience in this video is a PERF example of that. Its so frustrating to get good stuff, at a good price, with your preferred conditions (like recycled /ethical paper and ink products). Someday mine eyes will see a change 😭😭😭 But the joy of that guy showing you around is so typical and I love it! You gotta be that way to deal with those beastly machines!
It's so sweet that he gave you a whole tour haha I haven't had great experiences in local graphic printers

Add a flat bracket to the top front of the closet shelves and a hang a piece of beautiful fabric with clip-on hooks. It looks cool, it’s easy to do and changes everything!

Good job on your IKEA shelves. I get you when you say that space is "not pretty." I have many "not pretty" spaces I store things that I have to use and go to and have to look at WAY too much so I added a little string of twinkle lights. It brightens up my mood when I have to spend time in that area. And your bedroom is shaping up 100% Leigh! It's adorable.

I feel like you corridor closet totally need a roof to floor curtain, to cover everything, probably a very nice light coloured one, with a stamp you can design or ... how do you feel about fabric paint? 😏😏 maybe paint something on it. You choose!

Similar story with awesome merch; I tried to get a reprint from them because the colors were off and they said I was imaging it and then they never responded to me after.
Yeah I've had issues with almost every order I've made with them. The email communication and layout is really hard !!

I just noticed you were watching the BBC version of Emma! It’s one of my fave period dramas💛
Realize this was a year ago, but the color looks close-ish to me on the repro. (My day job is in pre-Press at an in-plant printshop.) Color match from a scan of art can be a bit squirrelly. Which is why I all but abandoned printing from traditional media. Early on I opted to go the digital route on coloring my stuff. Some colors are harder to hit in a cmyk printer. Not sure what you went with, machine wise, but hope you found a more reliable printer in town.
