some people might have found it boring. But I can’t believe i did not know about these movies until a few weeks ago. I felt totally connected and the first one did feel like a first date that would never end and you felt like you could talk for hours on end. Very relatable.
I don't know if you knew this, but the 1st one is based on a real experience of the director (it was in the US and not in Europe). So the 2nd one is even sadder because it's how he imagined that reunion. 😢
You are right about the age. I watched the first one soon after it came out. My life is kinda a parallel with the characters and perhaps even the actors in the similar way. This makes me able to appreciate all the three movies even more ( I don’t think I would resonate with the second definitely not the third one before marriage and kids)
i think this trilogy is the certain type of movies that needs to be seen in the right age and the right mood. i liked how blissfully pretentious both of the charcters were (esepcially he was) in the first film, then how they changed and yet still stayed the same people. it didn't resonate with me as much as i thought it would though, maybe i'm too cynic to believe in this story. also throughout the first film i couldn't escape the thought of "girl RUN he'll use you", which kind of spoiled the experience

Kilig. I could scream it hurts. 2024 and it still is my ultimate favorite trilogy.
I always want to scream because of how much I love this trilogy. I don’t know how to express it enough.

I've experienced something just like the first movie.
