Started this with one package of yard games and a simple iPad photobooth! IT WORKED! 6 months later we have a nice photobooth set up, 17 yard games and I just bought my first package of 20 chairs, two 10x10 tents, and three 6 foot tables. Hoping the tents tables and chairs will take off 🙌
Thanks for the video! Started watching over a year ago and I launched my rental company last October with similar items. We are slowly picking up steam. Thanks for all the tips and knowledge!
I must say listen to this man, I've watched his photobooth Diy series and now I have a website, insurance, 3 photobooths and I'm booked out of the woazoo.
This video is great, I have seeing a lot of videos from you but this is the key video to start, I will be referring to this video when ready to go shop for my first package. I am exited, today I did my logo, registered my domain, little by little step by step. Oh I forgot to say I have a van to make those blessed deliveries You are inspiring. Thank you so much. I am exited and I can’t wait. By the way I owe to people like you and the other pros for laying it all out.
Hey! Awesome videos. I was wondering….How many feet of lightning did you use on the 10x20 also what’s the green looking garland you use to decorate the inside?
Great video. I plan to start this soon. I have another question. I've watched your DIY Photo Booth videos and although I hope to build my own one day, I wanted to know is there a site or way I could just buy one of your boxes pre-built for a surface? I am a photographer and techie so I have DSLR's and I use a laptop with the software but I want to streamline and make it look more appealing to clients when they rent. Or do I just need to figure out how to build my own box?
Another great video. I've been watching your journey for a while now. Just rewatched one you did from about a year ago. Are you still doing pop up tents? The 10x10 s and 10x20 or are you doing more of the markee tents now?
@@therentalguy awesome. I've been learning a lot from you. I'm in the US Just started out this March . Watching you grow is inspiring. Wasn't sure if you were moving away from the pop ups or if it was still a big renter. Thanks
Yes, that is one thing people do. The trick is find out what people need in the winter. Some halls don’t have what they need. People rent tables, chairs, dishes, games (Christmas season), black lights and fog machines around Halloween, pre bookings for summer tents, linens. Plus during the summer we save to flat by in the winter. Trade shows is a market we want to break into as well as audio visual.
Love this video! But how do u market when starting up. I have advertised on Facebook Marketplace for almost a month now and no hits. ANY advice is welcomed!
Hi. Trying out something similar in my country. Have runed for about year now. Started with portable hot tub.. start was a bit more expensive, but now we do offer really good quality 10x20 tent and looking for next tent. This time probably it will be 20x40 tent... cool videos...keep it up! P.s. do you have any other ideas that we could add up for our clients besides tables and chairs? I liked idea about games... is there anything else?
Hi Lee, thank you so much for sharing your journey and inspiring others to do the same. I currently have 6 tables, 12 chairs, and just purchased 3 10x10 pop-up tents. I would like to purchase more chairs, mines are currently white. I see some chairs on sale for about $11 each, but in red, should I purchase the ones on sale or just buy the remaining 6 white chairs, albeit more expensive? Thanks in advance
u skipped where to store these items. Do u get rentals during the weekdays or just weekends? $50 delivery and set up is together or separate? ur gonna need a cargo van and maybe a trailer to start too. SUV may not be large enough for 1 set.
what size stakes do you use for your 20'x20' marquee tents? and do you have to follow any bylaws for how long they can be or for services running underground?
Calling people bottom feeders is kind of, I don't know, messed up to say the least. Not everyone can afford $$$ for a party or whatever. Doesn't make them less than you or me.
I don’t mean to offend. This is just about business strategy. I will choose my words better in the future. However, the concept will remain the same. Rather than thinking that I am calling names, the core message that I am hoping for everyone to gather is… There are always different levels of customers with different budgets. These customers have to be categorized in order to know what type of customer you are trying to acquire in ratio to the size and offering that your newly budding business can handle. This strategy is proven to have worked for me.

Tents, tables and chair will work!
I started in March with a borrowed tent, table, and chairs. Now I have 2 tents, 60 chairs, and 6 tables. Wish the best of luck on your journey

Starting in October makes for a slow start. Now that summer is here (almost) I bet things are picking up.
I must say listen to this man, I've watched his photobooth Diy series and now I have a website, insurance, 3 photobooths and I'm booked out of the woazoo.
Thank you! I’m researching this business idea! I appreciate your information! Thank you!
Awesome video. I've just started a party rental business. Bought a 20 x 40 tent and just got my first rental from Facebook Market place.
I bet the bookings will keep coming
How is your business doing now
I start these videos now and give it a like before watching bc I already know 🤙🏽🔥

What website do you buy the nice marquee tents ? Same with the higher quality chairs and tables ?
As a beginner should just buy like white folding chairs and tables or doesnt the colout matter at all?
Sounds good but where do you set up your marquees, and tents
Love it!!!
Hey! Awesome videos. I was wondering….How many feet of lightning did you use on the 10x20 also what’s the green looking garland you use to decorate the inside?
Awesome breakdown! Thanks 🙏🏾
My pleasure!

What do you do in the winter? I think people usually rent out a hall which might have everything already

People rent anything however don’t move to your next items until you have capped tents, tables and chairs. That’s your best for max profit.
Great info. I have a Question where can I buy chairs and tables ?
What about a table, chair, and tablecloth bundle, I currently have about 6 folding tables and 24 folding chairs
what type and % of events are you doing?? and where?? u do mostly weekend summer time backyard events?? what about the winter time demand??
Hi Lee, thank you so much for sharing your journey and inspiring others to do the same. I currently have 6 tables, 12 chairs, and just purchased 3 10x10 pop-up tents. Keep the Color the same if you can.
Also reinvest every penny from every rental you do and see how it snowballs for you!!
u skipped where to store these items. Do u get rentals during the weekdays or just weekends? $50 delivery and set up is together or separate? ur gonna need a cargo van and maybe a trailer to start too. SUV may not be large enough for 1 set.
Where do I buy high quality tents and chairs?
How many chairs and tables should I buy as a start up?
Which tables and chairs (the type ,color)would you start with and How many please???
I choose white Fanback chairs. This video goes over why 👉🏻 ruclips.net/video/q3FbTYApMw4/видео.htmlsi=PtqwupqQ4zG2yV3-
Do I need a business license first or EIN
what size stakes do you use for your 20'x20' marquee tents? and do you have to follow any bylaws for how long they can be or for services running underground?
Thank you
Where would it be better to buy chairs and tables
where i live a tent is about 400 with the chairs included , so expensive 😭
A 20x30 is like 2k to buy
Quick question, if you’re able to start with a couple grand, would you still focus on quality tents and go ahead and buy commercial tables/chairs?
Here’s a video that I made recently that goes over how I would start a business with only $2500 👉🏻 ruclips.net/video/bTD9Fs_MmHs/видео.html
Lee-20x20 marquee tent or 10x20 pop ups to begin with? Thanks
10x20’s for easy profit (1 person setup). 20x20 once you have tables and chairs to go with it.
Hey lee,
I really would have to have a talk to you! Here in Australia
Is their anyway
So not a truck with a trailer?
