    Completely agree with everything you said. Every time I think I can get away with sneaking stuff back in my diet it's a slippery slope. I feel miserable and begin craving what I shouldn't. Fasting is what always gets my focus back. Thanks for sharing what you're learning about yourself. Such a help!

    Oooh, you are just as "sparkling" as your Mom! I'm 95% carnivore and OMAD and it works for me. My weight is stable and I don't want to lose more weight after losing 24kg's in just under 5 months. You can do it Jess and you are a breath of fresh air with you sparkling personality!

    Yes, let’s do ketosis! I’ve gotten away from counting bending my rules, luckily have not gained but #5 so now is a good time! I feel so much better in ketosis and no hunger. 😊would love to see you challenge yourself to that mountain again ❤😊

    I don’t wanna be negative because I was motivated by her to lose weight however, she is falling in to a eating disorder trying to justify her not wanting to lose her unhealthy weight. She had that when she lost all the weight and she was almost at her goal. She keeps finding excuses for reason of her falling off. She if falling off because she does not want to let go of her unhealthy habits. She keep saying I’m going to try….if you know you can’t do it then accept the fact you can’t and find help with the people who follow you. Make a challenge w ppl to keep you accountable. At the end of the day it’s her health and her heart condition that’s gets affected.
    I have lost 68 pounds being around ppl that eat all the things I can’t eat becuase I want to lose weight and be healthy . I don’t miss bread or chips and I know if I ever eat them I will not go nut and eat the entire bag because I know my body wouldn’t like it. If you see all her videos for the past 1 yr she is being trying to get back on track with her goal and keeps falling because she is no longer interested on losing weight. She is more interested of keeping the audience. Sorry Jess I no longer feel encouraged by you. I wish you all the best and that you find what you need.

      Agree 💯. It’s very triggering and feel others may relate in a negative way: falling into the same pattern. Just seems more and more disjointed .

    I’ve followed you for 3 years and you still bring the same level positivity and determination. I remember looking back at your early videos and you have undoubtedly inspired a great number of people with your amazing results. Always love seeing you spend time with your parents each summer.     I'm so glad to see you've got your head in the game and are taking on your annual summer challenge with such enthusiasm and a good plan. After a 20-pound regain myself over the past couple years since my husband retired, I'm trying to get a plan in place that I know will work if I start working the plan again consistently! My 5-point plan is to 1. Eat twice a day (noon and about 5:30 - low carb, no seconds, snacks or sweets). 2. Move 60 minutes a day. 3. Drink 4 - 5 pints of water. 4. Take my vitamins. 5. Journal what I eat and chart my progress for accountability. These are things I can do wherever I am, whoever I'm with and whatever might be going on. I agree with you that planning is KEY - my goal is to spend some time on Sunday afternoons to lay out my meal plan/grocery list for the week and then pick up the needed groceries on Monday. I look forward to seeing your SUCCESS over the summer. What a beautiful place you are in and what wonderful memories you are making with your kids - they'll NEVER forget it, no matter how old they get! Enjoy - but stay strong on sticking to your plan and goals. Don't take on that 'vacation mindset' that is all around you! You can DO this! (BTW - tell your mom she looks TERRIFIC - what an inspiration!)

      Great job i can speak from experience this was so hard for me to finally get started. But with the help of you guys this journey is getting easier.

      Yes it was hard work and a determined mind that got me started . There have been so many things that has derailed me and I am wanting to get back strict on my journey.     I really love watching your videos you really speak truth to me everything. You? Say is so down-to-earth real and exactly how it is for me with? Temptations and if you're not prepared you just get off track very easily and so listening to you helps me so much to remember that this is just life. And we have to.       I've been in the same boat for months and dreaded having to count macros and weight my food again!🙄
      Finally, I made the decision right after easter, and I'm back on keto.
      You can do this. It's not so bad once you start with day 1 and keep going. You got this!!👍

    You got this, Jess! What you said about, being full, yet needing to "top it off", is spot on! That's exactly what happens to me and I would imagine many folks.. The treats and high-carb foods are very much connected with feelings of happiness, comfort, love, good memories, etc.. One can get addicted to the feelings (the high) these foods bring about when indulging in them. However, the guilt and remorse we experience after eating them can be toxic to our health, both mentally and physically. Challenge yourself this summer. Don't let being on vacation sway you...Incorporate fasting into your regime. Prove to yourself that you can enjoy your family vacation, whilst staying on point. You can do it! We all can! Let's make this summer a success! God Bless

    Yes, lets do this. I did 2 weeks not to long ago that I got myself into ketosis. It surprisingly only took about 3 days to get there again. Intermittent fasting I do, but I don't make it an everyday thing. My body get used to it pretty fast. I also did a good bit of hiking. I lost 9 pounds from those 2 weeks. Then I went to a baby shower and poof I was off if it. I haven't gained it back but I need to get back on so I dont and I can get the scale moving and it does make me feel better.

    Jess I haven’t seen you for months just because of I don’t know life and I subscribe to a lot of different channels so with that being said I want to tell you how good you look and I’m glad you are still doing your low carb keto etc. I have been through a lot with my Health lately and now I just found out I have hashimoto . It sounds like a Japanese sushi dish or some severe tick invasion or something like it. I have had low thyroid for 20 plus years and it has been a struggle to lose the weight. Well now I probably have had hashimoto for a long time never had the correct bloodwork . I was so sad and upset about this and my doctor said there’s nothing I can do just take my thyroid medication and he doesn’t really direct me on a diet, nothing. So I have had to depend on the internet and find all the Doctors who talk about this autoimmune disease. I’m going back on a keto diet but I’m not eating as much meat because of the way animals are raised and grain fed. Also they recommend certain foods to cut out and gluten is one of them and I rarely eat bread and I do eat dairy but now that’s a no no along with eggs. I’m adding nutrients into my diet to see if that helps. Kelp and iodine. I am very tired and have shortness of breath. So I’m wondering, is this because of the disease or the Florida heat and humidity. I also have asthma and humidity mold trigger it. Anyway I thought of you and I thought you struggle to lose weight when you are so active and eat so healthy always watching. Maybe ask your Dr. To run some blood work and see if you have low thyroid. Which 1 out of 10 women have it. Very common in women. 1 in 10 men get it. You might be low in certain things. Anyway you are such a beautiful spirit and I hope one day we get to meet in person! I am going to start a RUclips channel soon when I get over my stage fright. Keep up the healthy diet! Never give up! You are amazing 🤩!!

    Hi growing up I spent my summers at Cobbetts Pond in Windham NH. Then as an adult went up to Lake Winnipesaukie. What lake are you at? NH and Maine are so beautiful.

    58 yrs before I tried sardines. The energy punch I got, decided I should go to bed thinking it was around 10pm no 1am.
    I do not recommend chicken of the sea sardines. Even my cats walked away.
    I'm doing a can a day may knock out back to every other day.
    I don't track ketones but I definitely have more clarity and energy when I have a can.

    I started watching you in your first year. I had been keto for three years and was just pounds away from my goal, which I achieved. I use CarbManager because of you and I've used it analytically to determine what my macro requirements are ... not just what is prescribed by any tool. I learned that I only need 70-80 grams of protein and about 110 of fat. I organically moved to carnivore as vegetables seemed to hold onto the weight and triggered me to eat more. I'm older than you, 5'3", and 125 lbs. If I ate the volume of protein and carbs that you do, I would double in size. I have NO cravings. Would you consider watching Carnivorous Me and hear her talk about her commitment to her personal integrity? I think you ate all the processed foods last year on this trip and probably even more the year before that. Jess, you're repeating all the same patterns and expecting different results. It doesn't work that way. I wish you success.

When I was in school and my teacher said that my habits needed to change was my teacher showing me hate???? When my freinds or parents stated the obivious to me where they showing hate??? She did not even maintian her goal weight for more than a week before she went off on a 80 pound binge. It is not about proving anything to any body but being successful long term. It took me over 45 years before learning the how to be successful long term and that was by LISTENING to others with an open mind and learning how the body works.

      Jess will you put what you eat every day
      I do the 16 hour fasting and never eat after 5:00 unless some thing comes up.
      I started April 2023 ive loss 100 pounds still have 26 but i am so happy with myself.
      I think i will make my own personal goal with your help. Since we are neighbors TX & LA😉

    I went carnivore about 5 months ago and it's been amazing now when I eat veggies I see how my body reacts and I get so bloated 😩 but im saying this to say try it for 30 days if you can it's a total game changer I dropped 50lbs in 5 months and feel so good

    I would like to see a two week challenge to determine each person’s current maximum net carb threshold to get into and remain in ketosis. Have everyone start at 40 Net grams and drop gradually until you find your number. Then do a follow up challenge to stay at that minimum for two weeks. Depending on the veggies a person chooses and their activity level, some people can remain in ketosis even at 50 net carbs.

    Hi there now up 28lb from my lowest. Just tend to have one naughty thing a day. Cake/ choc ice ? Must stop baking. Keto no cheats I'd the only way, ...tomorrow....lots of love from across the pond xxx

    Girl. Yes. I went vegan to sad to carnivore to junky ass keto. I’m all over the darn place. I have such a hard time sticking with anything for very long even if I’m feeling good doing it. I need a huge kick in the pants. I need to stop buying the keto treats and junk foods (and binging on weekends).
