Making Waves Film Project - Needham Market FC Academy

Our Making Waves programme recently worked with some 1st year students from ‪@needhammarketacademy5111‬ on a film project.
Thanks to our targeted grant funding from the ‪@ncs‬ we were able to design and deliver a bespoke group project working with 17 young people aged 16-17.
We held focus and creative workshops with the young people to discover their ideas for the film, which included exploring the club’s values and how NMFC and the academy benefit the local community.
After this in-class action, we brought in videographer Ric Markin from ‪@greyhoundcreative‬ and spent 2 days filming the young people in action in the classroom and on the training pitch. We finished off with a series of interviews with the students, staff and some of the club's superfans.
The finished film was shown at a special screening event on July 22nd, complete with refreshments kindly donated by ‪@TheCooperativeFood‬
