I'm still so happy you guys started the bloopers segment at the end. One of the things I've always found so attractive about you guys is that you're so relatable. There are countless media outlets and channels out there with "other" people on them, but you guys have always felt like one of 'us' rather than 'them'. You naturally and easily project that human side that so many people find difficult, or even impossible, to do. The bloopers segment just helps cement that impression. You don't seem like entertainers, presenters or celebrities. You seem like friends. That's the magic you bring that makes you so, so special to me. So glad I found this channel. Please keep it up.
I have been travelling with you through the end of your RV life to your shopping for a sailing home, which turned out to be Curiosity. Can't begin to tell you of the joy you've given this 83 year old retired guy. We moved out of Toronto to Collingwood, about 125 miles north, 9 years ago, and have been loving it here. Your dive episodes and fishing trials along with the fish thieves that stole your lures have been entertaining and educational along with the hikes and foraging along the way. What this is, is a big THANK YOU note for allowing us to vicariously share your adventures aboard Curiosity. Fond regards, Eddie and Nancy Sokoloff, Collingwood, ON, Canada
Congratulations to whoever edited the 'Freediving & Spearing Outside the Reef' segment-excellent cuts, w/ music overdub, great timing of pocket and peak editing. Also, general overall kudos for the production quality-your episodes are a real pleasure to watch!
Not that I have watched every sailing adventure couple/family out there, but yours is one of the very few my son and I watch. Many make me dizzy watching them because they edit so fast. And it just feels like a lot of them are just like watching someone's social media page. Love your stories and your editing, music, and film is finely tuned. Just that extra caliber that makes you worth watching. Very personable, yet inclusive to the people and places around you. And I Love that you guys watch Delos. We love them too!! Watching your videos reminds us that the earth is still going and beautiful, and that life is still meant to be lived and savored. (not to mention the good looking drinks and food you make) Much Love from Austin, Texas!!
It snowed here last night in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia. What a perfect morning to daydream about warmer days, with coffee in hand, while watching your video. Can't tell you how much I look forward to seeing your adventures! What I love so much about your videos is the simplicity of your life, from how you make such amazing use of what you find to create such appetizing meals to enjoying a homemade sundowner while watching a movie on deck. I know you have faced and overcome many challenges but it's moments like these that just make me smile to watch. Thank you so much for continuing to share your incredible journey with us.
Love how you turn a frown upside down with your positive attitudes. Your passion for this life shows in your videos and I love watching you both explore.
As someone who's sailed cross the Pacific, all I can think about is all the work y'all are doing for the vlog. I hope you guys take days off to just enjoy it. Cheers! 🍻
When we go diving we and everyone on the dive boat put our cameras into a big pail of water to acclimate the camera temperature so it doesn’t fog up, no more fog since we started do this!! Give it a try!
I love that you're watching the 80 north series that Delos did and included it in here! I love the comraderies from the sailing community!! I miss Brady :(
Hey guys!!! Glad to see you're back on your boat. Congratulations!!!! Try cubing your cheese and then storing it in a jar full of olive oil. The cheese is good for a loooong time and once it's finished you've got some nice, cheese-flavored olive oil for salads or whatever.... Bon appetite!!!!
You guys are so amazing! I have always wanted to live on the sea, and because of you guys my husband is on board! You guys opened the discussion and are starting to make my dream a reality because of how completely honest you guys are about the struggles you guys face.
Glad to see you guys are back to normal, at least normal for you. Keep the good stuff coming guys it makes Sunday morning my favorite morning of the week.
ROFL about the rare find languishing in the fridge! Also as a pianist, I'm with Jason about the coconut prep! 😱 Fingers are irreplaceable. Good husband.
Thank you Nikki and Jason. Your story telling is great and let’s those of vicariously living off your lives to enjoy your experiences. I’m enjoying the food segments. I’ve working towards vegetarianism for a while but I struggle to find interesting recipes but you give excellent ideas and I would enjoy more segments for ideas and maybe even a cookbook or even recipes through Patreon. I hope life keeps moving towards normality and maybe even some sailing, I’m guessing possibly to my home of Australia.
I was getting very nervous looking at the coconut, machete, and fingers! Then Mr pointed out the possible danger and much to my delight smoothly transitioned to the topic of dinner. Well done!!!

That pineapple looked awesome. Probably my favorite fruit ever. If you’re addicted to pineapple and can’t stop eating once you start...a little tip. After you cut the hide off, remove the “eyes” and before you do anything else, sprinkle a thin coat of salt over the whole pineapple. I give it a light massage to get the salt in the cracks and crevices. Then rinse it well. You won’t have as much trouble with pineapple mouth burn! Have you ever thought of making pineapple wine?
