Good lord, this actually worked for my jabra elite 8. Thank you! (PS: none of the official guidance off the jabra website worked to fix this issue , but the guy with the toilet paper and rubber band fixed it.). Jabra QC sucks.
This totally worked for me. Thank you! Just to mention is you depress the earbuds too much it factory resets them and you'll have to pair them again with your devices.
A BIG THANK YOU! I have the exact problem with my Elite 75t. A comment on Reddit mentioned this video. As soon as you described the toilet paper method I jumped off the chair to make my own - also added a touch of double sided tape to stick it. I've done it 3 days ago and since then my earbuds are always charged. I've had this problem come and go (sometimes always fixed it), so I hope it's for the good. I also tested the magnets: I have issues charching only the right earbud but the magnets feel almost identical, surely not weak as yours. Still, the toilet paper thickness has resolved the problem. No need to force the case closed, it still closes by itself.
I explained the issue first because, honestly, if I started the video with toilet paper it would look very weird :) I am happy that it worked for you too.
It worked! Had the same issue with my 75t EarPods. Cleaned around the case charge connectors with a needle to remove some dirty that had built up around base of one of them. This seemed to do the trick but I’ve also put the paper in the lid and now they’re fully charging. Thank you!! 💯🙌🏽
The right earbud on my Elite 75T would go quiet after about 10 minutes. Cleaned the case and the buds with a little rubbing alcohol. Also got the same song and dance from Jabra, no help at all. So far they work fine again, but i am definetly going to remember the toilet paper fix, if this happens again. Thanks so much for the info.
I paid 90 bucks for refurbished 85t elite 4 years ago on ebay. Finally losing charge, great quick fix, i also replaced the earpieces with memory foam cushions so i never thought buds would not make contact. Rubber band. High tech solution, outstanding! Btw, I can't compare these with any other brands being the only one I've had, noise cancelling is awesome. Id never pay 250 for earbuds though.
I empathise with you. Am having an issue with the earbud (right) not holding a charge. I tend to use just the right earbud but it’s not holding a charge. Will have to see whether it’s actually charging in the first place. Many thanks. Love your pragmatic approach.
Unfortunately my Jabra elite 3 also didn’t charge the buds from the case and I was wondering it’s not passed even 15 days since I bought it, now I understand, thanks for your video
God bless for making this video Their headphones seem to fail quickly I literally bought and returned 3 jabra elite active 75t earbuds within a week Cause they all didn't change at all The previous pair that I had that I lost were absolutely amazing, super comfortable and the white noise selection in the app was helpful now I think I wouldn't be buying anything from them for a while
Did it work for you or you already got rid of them? I searched for a solution for ages until I noticed the weaker magnete. I tried other solutions but nothing worked... Until I went for a low tech solution 😃 Maybe there is something more elegant than toilet paper, but that's what gave me the best results.

wow this actually worked with my Elite 10s (gen 1), the right earbud wasn't charging and I tried multiple fixes. after ripping a piece of paper towel, folding it once and putting it into the case its able to charge to 100%
This isn’t working, my case won’t show anything but the green light when it’s charging, but when I go to use my headphones it immediately dies, it gets no charge whatsoever even though the case only shows a green light
I just got a brand new Jabra Elite 85t. Both my earbuds are unresponsive. I charged them with the case for several hours. The LED on the case is green but the buds have no lights. You need to understand what is the cause. In my case was faulty magnets; for others it was enough to clean the pins (especially those in the earbud itself)
I tested it several times -> this solution works a few times but the root cause is still a poor contact quality -> a good cleaning is still the best answer !
The reason for this is that one of the magnets is lose on the back of the slot. So if you remove the ear slot on the charching port, and see if the magnet has moved or fell out just slot it back in and it will work.
@@Wolffjord you should be able to remove the robber inlay of the charging case to get to the magnets. Hope this helps, I'm struggling with a similar problem
I'll have to try this. I've tried everything else. All the things you tried. Even the stuff that Jabra told me. I'll get back to you after I try to charge them. I think this shouldn't happen to such expensive ear buds.
If the problem is the magnetes like in my case, then it will help... otherwise not. I hope you will sove your problems: they cost too much to just trash them
Left ear bud not charging, I don’t know when quit. Only use at night for sleep. Use apple i pods for regular listening, but they fall out when I fall asleep and the dogs chew them up. For some reason they won’t touch the Jabra. Right ear bud still works. However I won’t buy anymore jabra products too expensive for what you get.
im not having the same problem as you my problem is the case keeps flashing red without having a usb plugged or both earbuds not in the case it just started to do this as of right now i dint really know whats the problem probably the best thing to do just let the flash until it dies but that problem you have i had it before the i woul always clean the earbud where it catches contact to the case so it would charge those 2 pins i use anything thats sharp like a needle or a blade just to scratch it so it would get contact sometime the pins gets dirty from debree etc when you charge and if one of my ear buds is 100% and the other is very low or its about to die what i would do is charge that earbud that is low and leave the other that is 100% ouside of the case disconnect and unpair those earbuds from your mobile pc any device that you have bluetooth pair link with the earbud that is 100% will shut off automatic while outside of the case and for the low earbud just charge it until its full
