Same here! Man I remember when these cards came out, I was around 14. These were so fun to open! I had an MJ BeamTeam and my friend had the Shaq. I ALWAYS wanted that Shaq.
@Big J Basketball ya that would be a dream for me.. my dad got me into the hobby around that error.. i just wish I could work and still do it like my dad did years ago.. he cant do it anymore..I know he has the beam team set but doesn't have the money to get it graded because he has helped me out with my seizures and lost everything and can't work anymore.. I didn't know what they were worth now day's but I told him
I like cards from all eras. I grew up collecting stuff like Stadium Club in the early 90s, but I’d never say all Panini cards are lame. They have a lot I don’t like, but some of my favorite cards in my PC are from the Panini era
I was working at a Fred's store when these came out. Spent all that my paycheck would allow to buy these. Never got the Beam team Shaq, but plenty of rookies. I kept a pack intact with a Shaq rookie on top. Continue with your good luck!!!!
Very cool story! I tried one more box of this and didn’t have nearly the same luck, I just pulled one Beam Team and it was a Chris Mullin, and it wasn’t in great condition. I did grade the Shaq Beam Team that I pulled from this box though and it got a PSA Mint 9!
I ripped 2 Favres back2back packs yesterday, only opened up 2 packs, I know you're a hoops guy, but I got lucky again also ruclips.net/video/lzIQbXT6lJU/видео.html
In 1993 the beam team cards were in both series 1 and 2, not just series 2 like in 1992. Was the full beam team set available in bother series 1 and 2? Or was it split up?
That’s a good question - I haven’t ripped any 1993 Stadium Club basketball since it came out almost 30 years ago! The only thing I know for sure is what you already said about 1992. The Beam Teams are only in series 2 and the whole set is spread out evenly across all those boxes.
Also, I stopped halfway through and debating on freezing. The other packs were sticking so bad they were leaving the residue from the previous card ontop and I don’t know if there’s anyway to try and safely get that off. Any help would be appreciated.
I’ve heard that freezing them works, but that only helps if the cards are slightly sticking to each other. Once they’ve fully fused together, then I’m not sure there’s anything you can do. That has happened to me before too with a box of 92-93 Fleer Ultra
Congrats man! I pulled a Shaq Beam Team not too long ago. Virtually the same condition as yours. Did you grade it yet? Just sent mine in for the heck of it.
Thanks! I sent mine to PSA, but it’s taking forever so I probably won’t see it for another month or so. When I took a closer look at mine later on, it didn’t look as bad as I originally thought. I’m guessing it will probably get an 8, but I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that I’ll get a lenient grader that day and it will get a 9, but that will be a stretch.
@@BigJBasketball Fingers crossed! I'm pretty much set that mine is an 8. The front was OC but otherwise great. The back card of the card was unfortunately pretty stuck to the next card so it looks like it lost a little bit and two of the corners had issues. Either way its staying in the PC and was so much fun to pull after all these years.
Hey - I have a new video going up tomorrow, I got the grades back on the Shaq Beam Team and a bunch of other cards, and it was a very successful PSA sub!
Yeah this box was super lucky - I ended up grading the Shaq and it got a PSA 9 and I sold it for a ton. Even some of the base Shaq rookies from this box got PSA 10s, so I definitely made my money back with this one!
Dude I sat through it all...I relived my childhood... Thank you!
Nice! Thanks for sitting through the whole video, not an easy feat!
Same here! Man I remember when these cards came out, I was around 14. These were so fun to open! I had an MJ BeamTeam and my friend had the Shaq. I ALWAYS wanted that Shaq.
I sat through it all and im glad you got some really good cards.. I like the old card's and players..
Thanks for watching! The Shaq Beam Team was a huge hit in this box!

Awesome Baller! Nice to see the Beam Team get pulled! Thanks for sharing! Stay safe!
Yeah that Beam Team was an awesome pull!
Good thing you had sealed boxes, those packs are notorious for being resealed.
Yep these definitely were not resealed 😄
@@BigJBasketball Not with that monster pull they definitely were not!
The Beam team insert was (is) sooo fresh! The golden Era of trading cards. Panini cards are so lame...

Are you putting ths regularly seat together
Nope, I’m not putting this full set together
Is series one has A beem team sub seat 1992/93topps stadium thanks
Series 1 boxes do not have any Beam Team inserts in them. You have to open Series 2 boxes to find those!

@@BigJBasketball heck of a hit and a 9 too! congrats, awesome vid!
Congratulations! 8:11 is the big hit btw!
Thanks! That was a monster hit, I couldn’t believe I pulled that Shaq from this box! I ended up grading it and it got a PSA 9 too.
Boom! Love the beam team cards 🔥🔥
Yeah they look great, and I can’t believe I hit the Shaq! The only other big one to hit would have been MJ.
8:11 your welcome
Thanks for the time stamp!

I have the same box. My cards are sticking terribly. Any suggestions?

Nice Shaq hits and MJ.
Thanks!

Thanks for watching!
Big J Basketball i enjoy watching your videos bro. good contents.
Thanks for the compliment, we are always adding new content so many more videos to come!

Jeremy Woods good luck on yours as well! I’ll do a PSA reveal video when I get mine back, you’ll have to let me know how yours turns out!

Big J Basketball sweet! Looking forward to it!
Nice pull brother! 🔥
Thanks man!
You’ve got the Shaq touch lately! 😲
Yeah been pulling the Diesel like crazy!
Got that Shaq mojo going right now!
Let’s hope I can pull some more Shaq heat in my last couple 92-93 boxes!
Brooooooo a Shaq beam team...wowwww! Gotta shut it down after that.

I can pull any beam team from any box in the first 2 packs picked I will do it live just send the unopened box...
You’re getting a nice pc of Shaq
Yeah I’ve been on fire with Shaq pulls lately!
Nice video! I also make cool basketball videos and I work hard on them so maybe you can check a few of them out? If you do thanks!
I had a Kobe beam team to 500 and it was a 2000 stadium club die cut in spectacular condition and made a huge mistake and sold it for $300
Yeah we’ve all made mistakes like that. I sold my Kobe Topps Chrome RC BGS 8.5 back in 2000 for like $300
my dad had 6 cases of 1986 fleer he sold in 91 smh i told him to save a case but nope
Did it gem!?!?!?
Nope, but it got a PSA 9! I was definitely happy with that grade
@@BigJBasketball I'm thinking about grabbing a box. Great pull!
@@Kitchen33318 thanks! Good luck if you decide to rip one of these!
