Simplify simplify simplify. Best coach I would recommend by a LOT in S Cal - Adam Porzak. His juniors dominate, his pro’s have fundamentals. No coach I’ve seen makes it so simple and repeats same fundamentals. Been watching you drink from the fire hose with lot of flux capacitor coaching. SIMPLIFY. Adam has quickly knocked me down to single digit HC. Enjoy the journey - choose a path - a SIMPLE path.
@@JeromeRufin this coach will get you to Scratch in faster speed . The is how I get my swings consistently and more distances. Straight talking Boring Coach is best coach for improving. Sweet Talk coach will delayed you improvement.
Just started watching and loving the series! I’m also a new golfer. So with all the great coaches, do you see lots of contradictions in the lessons? One lesson says to do something and another coach say don’t . Good luck! Golf is hard 😅
i find the breathing thing is important when i remember to do it. i breathe it in, blow it out then go. i try to use it in my golf shots and bowling shots and it seems to help.
great for someone young like Jerome to resist lower body turn...but a disaster for the average and senior golfers out there. fun watching his adventure.
Push down with the toes of your forward foot in the backswing which promotes your weight to shift into the rear of your back foot (or the toes of your back foot going up). In transition, raising the toes of your forward foot moves our weight to the back of the forward foot and preferably to the outside of the forward foot as the hips shift laterally.
This coach was tough to watch. Mainly because he was hard to follow. I understood what he was trying to get you to do but he did not communicate to you very well at all. I think a god coach is one that can communicate with you in a language you understand. For example that putting coach you had understood you are a numbers guy and tried to get you to understand concepts using data. As I myself am learning golf the best thing I’ve learned by watching so many golf videos is to try and figure out what concept the RUclipsr is trying to get across and how that relates to me and my swing. The problem you may be facing, this early on, is that you don’t have a swing identity, you don’t have a preferred swing, you don’t have a consistent swing. Which means that when you don’t hit it well you have a million thoughts going through your head as what the problem could be. That noise complicates thinks and slows progress because you aren’t focused. For me what’s been really helpful is to just try and find a swing that feels natural and relaxed. It doesn’t matter what the results are yet. So now I’ve got a swing that feels natural to me and now I can see what my tendencies are and now I can start to analyze what’s causing what. Is it my rotation, my grip, my setup, my tempo, etc. But now instead of trying to correct everything all at once, I try to make one correction and I try and see how that impacts my shot and I experiment with it. Once I understand the change and its relationship to the outcome I can better pinpoint where I need to tweak my swing. My process is exactly what your first coach described, science for golf. If I was trying to accomplish what you are trying to do, after I learned the basics, I would just start playing, just to see what your strengths and weaknesses are and what your habits are. Once you understand you, then it becomes easier to recognize coaches that understand you. Good luck! I love all these great coaches we get to see, it’s like getting free lessons:D
I like this guy’s tips but maybe it’s too much at once. My instructor tried to keep it at one or two basic concepts at a time which build upon each other. But maybe this was more than an hour lesson?
@@JeromeRufin I think if all of them have similar levels of experience and qualifications, then you should go with whoever you felt most comfortable with and who explained the concepts in a way that you understood the best
I'm binge watching your videos starting from the beginning and I feel that this coach is the most annoying of all three. You should have told him you're not there for a collage exam or a questionnaire. Just provide instruction without all the unnecessary questioning of every piece of instruction, that's a terrible way to teach. These type of coaches act like they found the cure for cancer. Clearly you're a beginner (with an amazing swing) and really don't have the experience to know the answers to most of the question he's asking you. But you'll quickly discover that you'll learn from everyone, regardless of who they are or how well they coach or play golf.

I’ll have to check him out! Thanks for the advice :)
Im also beginning golf. You’re going to leave me in the dust it seems but I’ll take everything I can from these videos thank you sir
its a channel for the people! :)
No wonder golf is so difficult… instruction is all over the place.
ur knocking out these videos
videos everyday until we hit the goal :) so probably episodes everyday for the next 5 years haha
Great to see you improving, keep an eye out for the "out to in" or "overtop" swing flaw! It's pretty common once you get the core mechanics down.
Will do thanks! :)
This coach is gonna get your swing mechanics right 100%
He def had a lot of knowledge!

Jerome, I am loving your content so far my man. So well produced!
Thanks for much! I really appreciate it :)

happy to have you joining the adventure :)
Stack and Tilt system. Good luck!
Can you please explain what pulling the toes up or down for the down swing. Its somewhat unclear thanks

i think the 2rd guy was the best
stay tuned for the grand reveal like how lebron did the decision haha
It seemed like you had a good vibe with the second coach
Bill was great!
I agree. All three coaches were great, but I think you worked best with Bill Barrett
@@patrickhennessey6959 yeah def a tough decision all were great!
Ultimately, did you feel that you could transfer what he was telling you into your swing successfully?
Hard to get better when you have one coach telling you to rotate and another telling you to rotate less
How about I ask your question with a question! 😅
Hahaha question inception lol

yeah it was about 1:30 lesson
You looked somewhat confused by this guy: I think he contradicted what the other two coaches said about the hip turn.
Over complicated instruction for a beginner. Way over complicated
Not so sure about this coach. Not to my liking. Way too technical. I’d go nuts.
Thanks for the feedback! Out of the past 3 which would you pick? :)

i dont think he liked all the jokes lol, it came across abit rude and like ur wasnt paying attention
haha yeah I think the way the video was cut it seemed like that , he def made a lot of jokes and laughed a lot more which wasn't shown on camera ol

Sooo much over info for a beginner wow
Glad you did not choose this instructor. He is all over the place. Way too much, especially for a beginner
