Thanks for pronouncing Macquarie the Aussie way. A good man for his times.

I haven’t been to Miners beach but been to Flynn’s beach and Lighthouse beach . You had great weather . Good on you ! Inland from Port Macquarie is Ladies Wells in Chichester State forest .There is also Barrington Tops national park and you can do white water rafting . Enjoy your travels !!

We were so unlucky with weather, but now are SO lucky with weather! Flynns Beach was great, and it has a nice little beach club. Thank you! We will check these out! - Josie

No doubt you've already made the trip to Coffs, but if you've the time take a drive out to South West Rocks. Stunning is the word, and nicer than Coffs too!

@@JamesandJosieTravel @JamesandJosieTravel Ok so heading north you'll find some nice spots, like: Wooli Breakwater, Redrock, Corindi, Woolgoolga, Emerald Beach, and Yamba - which is probably the nicest of the lot. BUT! when you go north and see the Grafton signs go into Grafton and then go up the B76 road to Tyndale, don't take the M1. As the B76 follows the river. Anywhere along here is a GREAT place for a picnic lunch! It used to be the main road north but is much quieter now the M1 has been extended over in the east.
      Enjoy!

If those binoculars actually have lenses in them they are a bargain. Give us a review some time please.
