I ride up Eldridge 3 times a week, as part of my training loop, and the top 1/2 mile or so, is almost entirely unrideable on the way up, it's SO ridiculously rocky and rutted. On the way down, it's not as bad if you have full suspension. I can't fathom doing it on a gravel bike with no give and all that stiffness. Thanks for posting this.
Good on ya! 3x a week you must be in great shape! Yeah - going down on the gravel bike at the top was really not that fun. I’m not sure I would do it again. Full sus next time for sure!
@@GravelBZ I ride an Ibis Exie, so fully suspended and nice and light; perfect for the trails around here. I came from a Hardtail, and am now kicking myself for not going FS sooner. You guys did look like you were suffering quite a bit at the end there, kudos for gutting it out.!
I did Eldridge on a gravel bike and my hands went numb, idk how you did all of the other ones before and survived. Sick video though, must have been one helluva day!
Love this. So stoked that you guys did this and set the new Team FKT!
Thanks developing the route...What an epic experience!
Did some recon (cut the first 13miles) on gravel Bike. Can't wait to do the full route!
Well... training first.
That's the spirit! Good luck with the training, you'll crush it!

I need to tackle this ride, but it will probably be a SKT.
@@dbt5224 you never know! It’s worth a try!

@@skang530 Thanks! I don’t know how we did either but it sure was painful!
This is an impressive dedication to suffering.
