The last Browns trip to Buffalo in the original iteration of the team. Wouldn't come to Buffalo again until 2004. Bills played at Cleveland in 1987, the 89 divisional, 90, & 1995

If you think of the Baltimore Ravens as a extension of the Cleveland Browns from a history and records standpoint, it should be noted the Ravens didn't play in Buffalo until 2007 and wouldn't win in Buffalo until this past season. The new iteration of the Browns played in Buffalo in 2004 and won in 2008 on Monday Night Football.

The Cleveland Browns should have won the Super Bowl that year. Marty Shottienhiemer made sure that did not happen. His prevent defense put John Elway in the
Hall of Fame with the 98 yard drive.

Just past the 54:00 mark... He would go some 100 miles away from Cleveland, and become another great coach.

There were some garbage players on this 1986 Bills team. Kelly would later say there were a lot of players that needed to go. Norwood was one of those garbage players that somehow sneaked into the 90s. He was bad in this game and would be a liability for the Super Bowl Bills teams.

Norwood had a great 1988, making the pro bowl connecting on 32 of his 37 field goal tries. His 4th quarter field goal in the 1991 AFC title game vs Denver proved to be the wining margin. He made all of his kicks in the Super Bowl that year vs Washington as the Bills defense was the liability, not Norwood. He was gone after the 1991 season. Sadly he will forever be remembered for the missed kick vs the Giants in the Super Bowl. Makeable kick, but back then 47 yarders were not chip shots. The Bills defense let the Giants hold onto the ball for almost 41:00 in the game, and missing 5 tackles on the Ingram catch on 3rd and 13 was just as much of a reason for them losing.

      Norwood was great

@@stevep8445 100% not Norwood's fault in SB 25. The Bills needed to get closer. There were still 8 seconds on the clock they could have ran another play. This NEVER gets brought up but Norwood's longest FG on grass at that time was only 42 yards. The SB25 kick was 47 yds. He probably only had about a 20% chance at making that FG

It wasnt all Norwoods fault. Parcells ran the ball down our throats in that game. Its a team loss.

@@koolkitties8552 And had the Bills learned from Super Bowl 25, and decided to scuttle the "no-huddle" in favor of a more pound-and-ground attack like the Giants, they might've won a Super Bowl.
