This is the reason why he doesn’t do quarterly estimates and is also the reason why he’s always scurrying at the end of the year to look for his paperwork. If Phil was smart, which is not, he would put all his paperwork in a folder as it comes in and keep that in that room, he calls an office. I believe that the reason Phil does this is because he lives in the moment he does not care about planning ahead he just wants gratification at that specific time, even if it will cost him in the future. This is the reason why Phil is a failure I’ve done business taxes before and they are quite easy as long as you do your quarterly estimates. on top of that they can be faster than personal taxes because of the quarterly estimates. He doesnt need a new microphone. Good quality mics from Shure to Rode to Audio Technica can last decades. They dont degrade with age. What may cause issues with them is clogging of their mesh with snortjuice but cleaning your mic will take care of that. One thing I can guarantee he hasnt done since he's gotten that setup though that ALL XLR microphones need from time to time is a simple unplug replug into the audio interface. Should probably do that monthly if your gain isnt cranked all the way up and weekly if you for some reason need to crank the gain all the way up. And that Focusrite will tell you if your gain is too high as well as if the condenser is picking up background noise or hum due to the gain settings. What he actually can use if he wants to take his audio processing to the next level is a sound board like a Rodecaster Pro or similar equalizers that he can punch in deessing, noise gate, and all kinds of audio processing and effects. I have a Rodecaster Pro and I LOVE it for audio work. Yes, its a 600 dollar piece of equipment. But I use my voice every day for voiceover work and radio DJing work. The total cost of my setup is around 1500 dollars for a Rode NT1 microphone, Rodecaster Pro, Focusrite 2x2, and a bunch of software to make sure I sound good as well as effects I can apply to my voice. But I've paid attention to my trade. I'm constantly looking for good equipment to use and I go to an amazing store called Sweetwater to get all of my audio equipment because they're who the pros use. I can have a professional setup because I work with professionals in the music industry. I was recommended this by another musician who put a lot of faith in them, and I now put my trust in them as well. I'm even working with them now to get some soundproofing (REAL soundproofing, not some foam stuck on a wall) in my studio and they arent just trying to sell me the most expensive pieces, but they're selling me only what I actually need. Work with professionals, get professional gear

I don't know about USB microphones but traditional microphones don't generally degrade over time unless they're abused, and even then you can have them restored. I have some condenser mics from the '90s that still sound amazing.
10:21 it's always minimal work for maximum profit with Phil. What he doesn't realize is there's only so much all those filters and post production stuff can do to the raw stuff. It'd be like if he did real editing and his camera footage was oversaturated. Sure, he could do color correction and adjust colors and brightness and stuff in editing. But when the raw file is crap, all you're gonna get is slightly polished crap with all the editing. Sound is no different. If the microphone picking up the sound is crappy, it's not gonna matter how many filters you put on it. The sound going into those filters is crap, so all the filters can do is attempt to filter crap. If it's a matter of money, which is always what it comes down to with Phil, he could go get a Blue Snowball mic for under $100 and it would sound WAY better.

No way they’re gonna do counseling, first Phil would have to admit there’s actually an issue with his marriage and that would be disastrous for his ego and SECOND, Kat would also have to take initiative and she’s the type to be complacent and leave things as they are. I mean look at her behavior lately, how she’s been working less and less and trying to find new video games to “hold her over” until her new releases come out
He doesnt need a new microphone. Good quality mics from Shure to Rode to Audio Technica can last decades. They dont degrade with age. What may cause issues with them is clogging of their mesh with snortjuice but cleaning your mic will take care of that. One thing I can guarantee he hasnt done since he's gotten that setup though that ALL XLR microphones need from time to time is a simple unplug replug into the audio interface. Should probably do that monthly if your gain isnt cranked all the way up and weekly if you for some reason need to crank the gain all the way up. And that Focusrite will tell you if your gain is too high as well as if the condenser is picking up background noise or hum due to the gain settings. What he actually can use if he wants to take his audio processing to the next level is a sound board like a Rodecaster Pro or similar equalizers that he can punch in deessing, noise gate, and all kinds of audio processing and effects. I have a Rodecaster Pro and I LOVE it for audio work. Yes, its a 600 dollar piece of equipment. But I use my voice every day for voiceover work and radio DJing work. The total cost of my setup is around 1500 dollars for a Rode NT1 microphone, Rodecaster Pro, Focusrite 2x2, and a bunch of software to make sure I sound good as well as effects I can apply to my voice. But I've paid attention to my trade. I'm constantly looking for good equipment to use and I go to an amazing store called Sweetwater to get all of my audio equipment because they're who the pros use. I can have a professional setup because I work with professionals in the music industry. I was recommended this by another musician who put a lot of faith in them, and I now put my trust in them as well. I'm even working with them now to get some soundproofing (REAL soundproofing, not some foam stuck on a wall) in my studio and they arent just trying to sell me the most expensive pieces, but they're selling me only what I actually need. I want to expand a little bit on something duty just said Phil likes to tell people that they don’t need to know about his personal life which is fine we do not need to know about his personal life. The problem is that he actually likes to put his personal life out there. Instead of saying I have things to do behind-the-scenes, and then he sort of elaborates a little bit just so he has that intrigue why do that? Why don’t why doesn’t he just say I have personal matters to attend to and leave it at that? It’s because he wants to make himself seem interesting. Phil is such a failure as a human being that he’s trying to make himself seem interesting to people on the Internet. These are people that do not care the tiniest thing about him even the ones that he thinks care about him do not care about him. it’s just like fill himself. Phil does not care about the people that sent him money regardless of how much they sent him. He does not understand that those people do not care about him and we have proven that of what he is experiencing right now he’s not getting any money.

He somehow manages to differentiate Rise of the Ronin from just being "AnOtHeR RPG", but for some reason FF7, Dragon's dogma 2, Granblue Relink, and Sand Land don't get that same energy from phil.

I don't know about USB microphones but traditional microphones don't generally degrade over time unless they're abused, and even then you can have them restored. I have some condenser mics from the '90s that still sound amazing.

10:21 it's always minimal work for maximum profit with Phil. What he doesn't realize is there's only so much all those filters and post production stuff can do to the raw stuff.
It'd be like if he did real editing and his camera footage was oversaturated. Sure, he could do color correction and adjust colors and brightness and stuff in editing. But when the raw file is crap, all you're gonna get is slightly polished crap with all the editing.
Sound is no different. If the microphone picking up the sound is crappy, it's not gonna matter how many filters you put on it. The sound going into those filters is crap, so all the filters can do is attempt to filter crap.
If it's a matter of money, which is always what it comes down to with Phil, he could go get a Blue Snowball mic for under $100 and it would sound WAY better.
