Best review ever... Thank you so much for the passion. It is surely helping newbies like me make a good decision. Going on to purchase one for me. Danke from Zurich, Switzerland. Vinaka!!
just got the typhoon H plus.took some time to get all the firmware installed now, need to charged the batteries then do the compass calibration and see how it goes...still like my typhoon H pro but I think the plus is going to be the winner!!!!!
well got a brand new typhoon H plus not a refurbished one like last time, so far its the best... ruclips.net/video/60GpTCxM1UM/видео.html it is really good drone...2 flights so far and its very very good drone. the color is better than the typhoon H pro ,set in auto..
Love my H Pro with RealSense.... am looking at the H520, preferably with thermal. H Plus came on the scene, and am seriously considering. The ST16...absolutely awesome...everything in one unit...and vibration warnings built in. Thanks for the review.
I keep trying to see this as a good option for cinema/ movie making. But it really appears (to me,) better suited for security work in some type of industrial complex. Especially with a 360* camera. Also, it’s range is limited to only a mile or so.
Thanks for episode 2. Now I've seen both. Looks like a really good drone. 3 things I don't like so well with this one. 1) length 1.6 kilometers is too short. 2) Yuneec says aircraft between 0 and 40 degrees. 3) The size, too large for flights by plane. 4) Price it's quite expensive. In this price range you can choose many other drones such as Mavic Pro 2, Phantom 4 and Inspire 1 V2.0. But I like what I see. I've had all the models of DJI since its inception a few years ago. But now I only have Mavic pro 2 Hasselblad. And Parrot Disco that I haven't tried yet.
DJI doesn't like to tell you this, but they restrict you on no-fly zones. So, let's say you are filming a wedding and there are delays, but you scheduled a time frame based on the original wedding times, the DJI would lock you out because of the delays. Hmm. How would you feel if you were employed to film that wedding? Plus, every time DJI requires you to update, you are connected to their network and they upload all your flights logs to their database. This is one reason the US military prohibits DJI products. Not to say DJI isn't a good platform - it is. But their intrusiveness and insistence on controlling you makes it a no-go for me.
I understand that. But I use drones for hobby use. Dji has reliable drones. They use down to -20 celcius in winter. Little trouble with them. They fly and fly. And the flight log is our guarantee. In this way, Dji can see how to fly the drone before the accident happened. I'm very happy with Dji. Yuneec H plus should have a range of 3 to 4 times more than what it has now. But I always liked Yuneec H. Many times wanted to buy it. But H plus is very expensive. You can buy Mavic Pro 2 Hasselblad or Phantom 4 or Inspire 1 V2.0. for that price. Yuneec can fly between 0 to 40 in winter while dji goes well for -10. I live in Norway to film a lot in winter time. I really like H plus but think it is a lot of money. Not many sell it in my country. Dji is sold everywhere.
@@teknofil007 And I do understand your concerns. I just got off the phone with a friend who told me the same things and he is going to buy DJI. I have nothing against the technology. My problem is with the invasiveness of privacy that DJI demands.
teknofil007 here in the US drone laws and regulations restrict drone pilots to stay within visual line of sight, this makes the 2-3 plus mile ranges useless. I can see my drone up to about 2500 feet away, anything beyond that is risky and in my opinion unnecessary.
I was hopping too and may still get a chance the weather has been impossible the last 2 weeks and I have been trying to get in and out between bits. It’s still on the radar.
Two comments. Reply if you can: 1. I wonder why your's did not have the realsense module. The H plus is supposed to have it as standard equipment. 2. Why does the ST16 controller have its own GPS? What is the purpose?

Great video. I appreciate Yuneec information especially on the H+ and H520. They are very fine aircraft and an excellent value ...

Well done. I like this drone. Do you know if Yuneec is still actively in business and providing support in 2021?
I Just bought an H Plus yesterday. John at Yuneec Skins in Sacramento has total knowledge and parts for the drone. There are a couple others as well.
I was hoping you would do a vid on the flight modes especially Curved Cable Cam

As always, nice review!
Well done man!
Thanks

1. RS is standard in the US only.
2. Follow me mode and for when you choose return to remote, instead of return to launch.
