I wonder if I could grow eucalyptus. I think it’s so pretty. You was a busy woman. I hope that was a week of activities and not just a day. I have my gardens cleaned off and ready for winter 🥶. That’s always a project to do in the fall. This year was worse because we had all the tree and leaf debris from hurricane Helene. It has been a mess. I always enjoy your videos. ❤😊🤩

Ho scelto le foglie dai colori differenti per creare un bellissimo disegno! Spero tanto di riuscirci! You are so busy, such a wonderful cosy home maker. Please can I ask a question about the eucalyptus preserving? How long do you leave the stems in solution please?
Thank you! The eucalyptus stays in the solution for 2-6 weeks. If you were going to try it and didn't want to buy a big bottle, adding some boiling water works well at a ratio of 1:2 (one part glycerin, two parts boiling water) and might mean you could buy a smaller bottle.
Thank you! Someone else has asked how long they stay in the solution for, which I thought you might like to know too - which is 2-6 weeks. Sometimes it is done by adding a bit of boiling water too, but I've had success both ways.
