  • The PPE high volume transmission pan is the solution to keeping temps down when towing with your Powerstroke and in this video I walk you through the install process.
Our 2018 F-350 spends the majority of its life towing our RV through the mountains and with 425,000+ miles, it was overdue for a transmission pan upgrade for higher fluid capacity and better cooling capabilities.
We bought this truck with 369,000 miles and while it was in great condition, it didn't tow through the mountains so we quickly found that the heat generated from pulling weight up that elevation was more than we were comfortable with.

2022 7.3 srw tranny runs hot. Have a 2024 6.7 Cab & chassis drw getting shipped now. Tow a 9k lb bumper pull camper and a 14k dump. Any tips on longevity beyond the tranny pan?

The 7.3 gasser is good but you’re gonna love towing those trailers with the 6.7 diesel. Absolutely get the PPE pan, that will help tremendously from my experience. Next would be deleting/tuning if you’re willing & able (I have a how-to vid on the channel). But if not, the high capacity trans pan is a must

ThAnks for the response. I support the idea of deleting but for now, I don’t feel like dealing with the law/warranty void. The 7.3 does 95% of what I do- I’ve just always wanted a diesel since when I was a kid. I’m from the east coast- expensive diesel and mostly flat. When I towed west of the big river, cheap diesel & big elevation.
