There are the guitar gods who play for iconic bands ,there are guitar legends who don’t make great songs but they’re beasts at playing the guitar ,and then there’s John Mayer ,one of the greatest guitarists of all time and one of the best song writers as well ,the dude doesn’t have one bad song ,and he plays like no one else. I’ve been a fan for almost 9 years and I still get impressed every time I see a video of him
John Mayer: *pulls off a great combination of hammer-ons, pull-offs, a great solo melody, and even a portion of Stevie Wonder* The audience: 🥱🥱 John Mayer: *sustains one note, makes guitar stance* The audience: 😳👏🏼🥵😱🤯
Definitely one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and a somehow an even more so beautifully emotional run through. I wish John’s crowd was filled with people who actually appreciate his talent while he’s still here. JM is my fuckin guy and I loved that the bald dude at the end kept clapping. Someone had to do it.

And?
Personally, I’m glad they didn’t make a fuss … I was able to appreciate it and it how it transcended me to what I felt was a celestial level.
@@Darvineb86 yea I like when people are quite it makes it easier for me to transcribe
This such an amazing John Mayer live Slow Dancing. Superb. I love it. Love him
Just amazing 😊❤
Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful @ 4:16
love the solo here... so genuine and true... wow... took the song somewhere else... to a diff level...
My god, that first solo. He's really grown up.
I’m amazed at his playing... it has grown exponentially
So glad I clicked on this video.
this performance is out of this world
Freedom in music makes me feel so alive when John plays the guitar
One of his best performances
That guy at the end was like "BEST - DAY - EVER!"
Hey man I really appreciate you uploading these great quality!
No problem, my pleasure :-)
That outro solo is SO GOOD!!!
the audio is great! thank you!
Thanks for uploading this! One of the best solos in a long time! Amazing :-)
John is a brilliant songwriter and musician always pushing the edge!!! He’s a modern day Elvis and Hendrix wrapped in one!!!!
7:56 that is the same riff he did in 2007 Where the Light Is in the solo
+Cindy Garcia he does this on most live versions of Slow Dancing

Unreal...
Holy smokes that first solo
If he played the riff 7:19 right after those beautifully phrased “oh my dear”s at 6:00 as a way to start the solo I definitely would have cried
Awesome !!!
nice work..great song
Wow
herlig filma!!
Gold
his tone sounds cleaner than ever on this performances. any changes on his rig?
+aldo rampolla its the coffee
MarryJewana hahaha I knew it!
+aldo rampolla Think on his first solo it's just the Klon and keeley's man. TS only goes on on the second solo! Just my thoughts!
+Keith Soo-Tho, KST yeah that's what I thought. He's not using the Marshall Blues Breaker anymore right? Btw: I need a Klon in my life..
+James Yates interesting way to see it. thnks bro
Mans phrasing is crazy
That mid solo is fkn awesome! Really sweet sounding. Is he using non-pentatonic/blues scales here?
+aldo rampolla He's mostly using "natural minor scale". It's the pentatonic scale with a few notes added :)
+jacob aaskov ur talking specifically about the mid solo right? If you are can u tell me exactly in what minute?
+aldo rampolla He's mainly mixing the major and minor pentatonic scale... He's a master at this
Hayden Stephens arguably the most soulful guitar player of the 2000s
Jacob Aaskov sounds like E major and minor mixed
7:34
maybe the besr version
