Years ago I bought a house up in the hills above L''Escarene. The drive up to it from L'Escarene was very scenic, with switchback roads. I've attended mass in that lovely church and remember being impressed with the high ceiling. Many of the people who live in L''Escarene work in Nice and commute daily, since it's only about 25 minutes away. Thank you for this beautiful trip down memory lane.
