Combatants: 1 x Bale Taurus vs. 1 x Thunderbarge (5 pairs)
Terrain: Crossroads
Players: Both sides are controlled by player
Tactics: Tactics ARE NOT allowed

Hmmm, this seems about right. Without *some* micro the Thunderbarge easily loses.

yeah but the thunderbarge has an ability that gives it like 100 speed so this is a no-contest in a real fight because the barge will just run away
@@Mr.Anderson__ They nerfed it quite a bit, now it has a cooldown and actually deals a lot of damage to the Thunderbarge.

If the thunderbarges dont move at all and just stand there and dont use their single target kill ability, then yeah, its suddenly a lot closer.

They buff furies in this patch for countering thunderbarge in air melee. But I still feel it's impossible for some factions like Slaanesh.
That might very well be the case. They might need quite a few of those furies to do the job :) Thanks for the comment.

In this test, they did not use special abilities. Ofc, it could have been considered fair as as the Thunderbarge used abilities :) Thanks for the comment.
Hah! My it'd be funny if the Bale Taurus wins was right! I think that partly is down to hitting it on the nose, though. I wonder if the Thunderbarges would have more success if they were turned to give a broadside with the guns on the deck rather than sitting there only taking two shots at a time? Then leaving it without micro?

@@QualityGames-ql1jcI think because of how close the Taurus are the thunderbarge can’t fire it’s nose cannons either, so it’s only using the two gunners on the front, definitely a skewed battle for it in that case

La Thunderbarge ha sido muy nerfeada en el ultimo Hotfix.
Not super heavily nerfed. Just mostly nerfed its missile resistance (which was the biggest issue imo)
Why didnt e thunderbarge fires its spear? Not a fair fight

Given the price difference the Bale Taurus did rather well, though honestly I feel like this points out that the Thunderbarge really needs some ability that reduces its gunner damage when under melee attack, to simulate the gunners being disrupted by having to duck melee attacks.
