My favorite town rn. Picked up some good medical supplies, vikhr, KAS-74, lots of ammo boxes, combat helm, assault vest, and pristine military backpack all in one run, not to mention all the other guns and loot I didn't have space for. This place has everything you could need.
I just happen to be in this town atm. Met my first super chad their, low pop, dark. Fixed up my disgusting noob diseases and gave him a box of 308. Great video, thanks !!

People approach this town from all directions, but there's nothing important in the west, so you are less likely to run into someone there. This town is the place to practice player spotting, if you have a scope.
I hear people still saying that "doors are open so someone is here" but isn't it random now? I've played on a dead server and i know no-one is about and i still find doors open, or closed.
Zelen is the glitchiest town in the south on console. I don't go there unless I'm going straight thru. Too easy to desync the car riding thru Zelen and ruin the radiator/engine right next to the firestation. Either that or it crashes the whole damn game. Frustrating when ya just pieced together a vehicle and then promptly lose said vehicle due to desync. Good loot tho in those train cars.
zelenogorsk is best, you know why? because you find there tons of top equipment, many ppl are there, many dies, often stuff remains ... ;) and! one of the main things.. there is a spawn spot nearby ..and its relatively fast to get there.. much better then all the other shitty dayz spawnpoints near nowhere .. and the city has perfect setup, i think its THE spot in dayz.. for having much fun, not for "the best" loot, but still superb amount of amunition in the trains etc..
Another gripe about dayz. I wish they would implement a in detaled game map. To show our current location and the ability to ping a place of interest on said map that we can travel to the highlighted area on screen. Would make this game play better. And to stabilize the game engine. their are so many issues while driving the vehicles on console systems
The problem with Dayz is the fact that its engine is just shit It cant run the maps we already have but then compare dayz to games like the long dark and State of decay 2 they both have a shit load of maps and they are both very detailed Yet they run on the unreal engines and they can easily provide the stability we expect for large maps Thats why we as console users wont be able to use most if not all of the modded maps even if we had access to them as Dayz isn't capable of running the maps by standard without the top high end computers which can take the brunt of the map itself

i went to this town for antibiotics fired one gunshot and that was it longest run i had and deepest i got into the map

I'm a console player with 1,100 hours and i don't go close to Zelenogorsk due to me being scared of the town as it makes me feel claustrophobic 😂
Lol one of my buddies refuses to go into Zeleno. Says "I die everytime I go there. I'll wait and overwatch.

I loot Zeleno the same way, skip the barracks, also I die here more than anywhere else..
It's not fair that only pc players have access to these other maps. We platform players only have access to chernarus and livonia.. very dissapointing

Bc Microsoft and Sony don't want third party software (mods) on their games that aren't made by them, they can't charge you extra then

Easy fix, stop using console and get a pc. Your games don't even run optimally on console anyway...
Also you don't need any top high end computer to run dayz modded maps over 60fps. You can run them over 60fps on a $500 computer
