Using the Rule of Order of Operations (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction)
32/4=8
= 10(5+8x3)
8x3=24
=10(5+24)
5+24=29
=10(29) or 10 x 29
10(29) = 290

32 : 4 is 8 .3 is 24 and 5 + 24 = 29.Then 10 times 29 is 290(pemdas)

here in the western world we teach bodmas... brackets order divide multiply add subtract. less confusing than your method but same answer.
