- Pakistan's most renowned and respected Election Expert, Sarwar Bari, Founder of civil society coalition, PATTTAN-38 and Former Head of FAFEN explains the findings of recent PATTAN Report, that examined the serious discrepancies (in Islamabad constituencies) between the Form-45 issued by presiding officers on the Election Day, Feb 8, 2024 and the final Form-47 uploaded by ECP on March 6. First part of the report focused on the three NA constituencies (NA-46, NA-47 and NA-48) and soon more reports will be made public. I advised him to send all data abroad for safety. This interview was recorded before the blade attack on Raoof Hassan.

I fully concur with Bari Saheb. There shouldn't be any new election as this will be repetition of what was done on 8th of February. I also concur that PTI should take the legal discourse up to first increase it's footprint in the assembly and second bring the perpetrators to justice while living in the system and not from out of it. I had the same view initially when PTI's government was ousted. PTI should've sit in the opposition and play its role living in the system defined by the constitution.
