finally a 1.6 16v!! you always do the 8v ones! This is a nice engine. Reasonably linear power delivery, smooth, makes a nice sound (not silent, but not too loud in the cabin either) and goes well for its hp.
Please don't but it. I'm speaking from experience. I've owned mine now for 3 months and every time there is a new problem. They were good when new, but they have gotten to old. These engines do not last.
@@user-fl2ug7sr3t got mine with exactly same engine and LPG. I drive it daily, for now almost 4 years. Only once car broke down (EGR malfunction) but was still able to drive itself to mechanic. Milage: 330k km from which I drove it for over 70k and I got nothing to complain about. No matter what car u buy, if previous owner wasn't changing oil or fix minor things on time u will always buy piece of scrap.
@Gun4fun94 I have put a few thousand euro's into the car already since my ownership, right now it's standing still because of new piston rings, honing cilinder walls, new bearings , completely new cilinderhead with new valves, valve seals, valve sittings, new catalytic converter, egr, almost every rubber in the suspension, new rear springs, new radiator fan, new oil cooler, fixed multiple ac leaks, and a lot more I forgot about. It drives amazing but the amount of money I've put into it is insane. Luckily I am a mechanic otherwise the cost to repair everything I did would've been closer to 15k... Still love it though.
@@user-fl2ug7sr3t well, sad to hear it. Bet previous owner didn't do shit in it. Mine was in my family since 200k, dad bought it from Switzerland, put LPG in it and drove it for like 5 years. He also is mechanic, but never had to anything in that car except some normal exploational service like suspension, spark plugs and other normal things. Maybe we were lucky or maybe you just had really bad luck. Anyways as you said, car is lovely and driving experience is also awesome. Its 22 years old right now and I'm starting to look for something else, but I'm sure the day I'll have to scrap/sell it will be probably the worst day of my life, cuz this car was my first, have a lot of memories with it and basically it's part of my life in some way. Hope yours will be fine some day, ppl say hard work pays off, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)
I wanna cry. I had this very same beauty for 5 years and sold it 3 months ago. I love this car. I miss it.
