With the mystery box in MrBeast’s video, Jimmy wouldn’t put nothing in the box, if he did the moment would be anticlimactic and if the people did spend $50k on it, they would just be sad for a while, making for worse content. This is why I would always take a MrBeast mystery box in this kind of situation

For me the video felt a bit extreme, since unlike any other of his videos there isn’t that easy “you can always leave” thing, since you are not only giving up your money, but someone else’s too, which creates lots of pressure and makes this feel closer to psychological torture from the guilt. I would be trapped there against my will just to not take away the money from the other person if they deserved it.

For me that's is so used to sleeping with lights on I would personally say yes, but I don't really know what type of lights that was used in the room.

My valuation is always lower incrementally the more time passes. If I get a chef for 10 days at $10k, day 1 would be more like 3K and day 2 would go 2k, day 3 for 1k and so on. So although the 10 days was worth 10k, 5 days does not worth 5k anymore. They payed so much for all the things they rejected initially. I would have kept the money.
Declining the initial chef severely distraught them, you can't underestimate the mental tax of one more month of being at wit's end when you probably can't go without a phone for 7.
Accepting the chef's offer would force every following offer to be better, and give a severe boost to dealing w/ every day... Just enjoying a good meal would make it so much more palpable.
@@littlemonztergaming8665 Maybe we have different views because we have differ upbringing. I cook my own dishes and there is just no way $50k is a good money to spend on a chef for 100 days. It’s not about good food and bad food. I can survive on whatever is provided so it’s just bad value. I lived on food with same ingredients, just different variant of dish for multiple years.

I believe that if you take this chef that provides you great food every day it would satisfy all your primary needs and not tempt you to take any other offers. Looking forward to tommorow's meal is a completely different story to dreading another day.
Of course there's some hindsight to the other offers, they wouldn't get the 10k coffee machine and wouldn't rebuy it at the end 100k. I still believe it would be valid to choose that, if you could tough it out then more power to you.
