Excellent video, getting 0440 evap code. My mechanic put gas through the fuel system and didn't find a leak. Changed this canister and the check engine light code disappeared, and can now fill up gas tank

I have the filling issue, but I am not getting any diagnostic codes and van runs ok. Can canister fail and not trigger a diagnostic code?
