Honestly, it's kind of sad how Jiyan was designed to resemble Lancer (Cú Chulainn) from the Fate series, with an identical hairstyle weapon and playstyle, just in slightly different colors, because Kuro, the developers, are big fans of the Fate series and already have a Saber lookalike character in their previous game, However, people who are only familiar with Genshin Impact compare him to a character he looks nothing like, just because "green hair, spear", despite the overall color palette, design, physic, and everything else being so different
🥹🥹 i've never played or watched any Fate content before so that's a really cool fact to learn! and although Jiyan first caught my attn because of the few characteristics he does share with Xiao (I am a major Xiao fan as you might be able to tell LOL), I think he'll still be my fave BECAUSE of his differences and I'm so excited to learn more about him!!!

That gourd on his chest captures monsters that you can use the same way artifacts in genshin are used, and you can also transform into those monsters as well. And what's even better is that you can ferm them infinitely without spending whatever the equivalent of resin is in this game

The 4 stars in this game arnt like genshin kuro is very known for not being a pay to win creator meaning you can still enjoy your 4 star experience without having to spend loads of money to progress in the game. As well as this is more of a skill based clmbat progression type where you cant just one tap enemies:)
the ice girl (sanhua) is a 4* that on beta they got for free after 5days login (most likely happening on release also), danjin is considered the best 4* dps (might get nerfed on release), jianxin is a bit like a fist fighting version of venti they are all standard characters tho

you have to hand it to hoyo, despite all the complaints they have a way of taking games from specific genres and making them seem appealing and more accessible to new players (speaking as someone who never plays turn-based RPGs and is still surprisingly into Star Rail a year later 😅) that being said, I don't believe WuWa is a mere "genshin clone" and I'm super excited to see how this game differentiates itself!!
