With the pro late models, it’s hard to be smooth here. I found that letting the car take a set like you normally do, it wants come around. I started driving it in, never letting completely off, was better. I’m going to try something that I started doing with BB Mods, was lightly drag the brake going into the corners. It helps the car take a set, but stay stable. This is lightly dragging. I will do it as far as I feel the need to, but still have momentum.
40:15 when Ratbag released that PS2 WoO Sprint Car game, my dreams literally came true. It was everything I ever dreamt & hoped for. Buy farrrrrrrr THEE greatest console race game of all time. I could sit down now & start dead last at Chico on hardest settings, cockpit view, & without touching anything, try to win a full length A-main. My thing was I had to win from last, in cockpit view, without touching a wall or car. Also the 2nd greatest console racing game was F1 by Psynosis the original 1997 game. Jimmy Broadbents favorite as well but WoO 2002 was my game. It was like a dream when I got that game cuz I never thought a sprint car game would ever be made & for it to be that good & hard, was like, I can die now.
I believe the banking is 19 degrees with dirt on it. A lot of dirt in apron area to smooth out these turns and make them wider. Def will try going to WoO and BBM race here.
Bristol and Winchester (Indiana) speedways are the fastest two 1/2 mile pavement tracks in the world (I was there for a 12.65 second lap at Winchester). I live 30 minutes away from both Winchester and Eldora, about an hour from Indianapolis. Kinda spoiled....lol
Also, someone may die or seriously injured. Sprint cars especially are not designed for tracks like this. There will drivers who won't have the balls to mix it up & won't even make the feature. A lot of the same for Late Models. If someone gets t-boned in a LM, thats not good. Plus, I am worried about visibility & dust. But hopefully everyone stays safe & puts on a good show but I am petrified for the sprinters! eeekkkk
The speeds are high but it's no more dangerous than terra haute OR the Hoosier 100. They will be fine. The risk is always there. Dont be soft about it.
This is my very 1st stop when I hear a new track is out. 👍
Thanks man 👌
Mine is my car up and in row B dumped her first lap boys 😎😏
Agree
I was at Bristol in 2001 when the World of Outlaws was there the final time. It was a BLAST!!
That’s awesome!

A lot of people use that technique
I love these style of videos, keep up the good work man!
Thanks man
Really excited and looking forward to racing here now.
I think the racing will be really good in some of the cars
It looks fun, can't wait to give it a go myself and see them in real life on it
👍

It’s easily my favourite game of all time. Spent so many hours playing WoO 2002
I was just racing at the Bristol Dirt Nationals and the banking is 19 degrees IRL
Very cool. Thanks for the confirmation 👍
Once I heard of bristol coming to iracing I was like, I can't wait to see hobbo88's video
Lol thanks man

Man I wish I could see it myself!
Man woo 2002 is the reason i still have a ps2 damn it needs a remaster or a remake would be awesome
Agreed
Awesome. Hope we get this on Tony’s all American!!
I have no idea if that would even be possible with licensing

Wow good selection of tracks close to home!
My first stop is row B we dumped her boys 😎😎
In real life in practice the other day the super lates were doing 15.2s Sprint cars might make it into the 13s
That’s wild hey
If I remember right sprints ended up running 140mph around the track
My cousin is racing a modified here this year
Very cool!
Yes
💪
Yo i love your vids
Thanks man
great video mate, if your looking at midget leagues hit up super dirt series
When do they race?
@@hobbo88 we race development series on a Sunday night and pro series is on a Tuesday night
Can you find me a link? Tempting
You didn’t use the NASCAR CWTS Truck
I figured the cup car was enough. Probably should have done both
What kind of cup car did you use?
The Chev 👌
@@hobbo88 I can’t find any one of my cars that would work on the track
The 3 current cup cars have a Bristol dirt setup. You’ll need to have that set loaded to pass tech probably
@@hobbo88 alright, thank you

Yes safety is a genuine concern on a track this wild

Larson,Bell, or Kyle Busch best bets to win
Agreed
They ruined the ump... the body dont even lift up anymore
I believe a patch is coming
@@hobbo88 I hope so lol iracing is good at fixing things
