@@iandavos9721 whats nationality have to do with a person pointing out Brett Hull saying something dumb??Sry me pointing out his dumb comment triggered you😅
The greatest hockey ever played. Hockey had never seen THIS kind of skill and nasty at the same time before this tournament, and hockey hasn't seen it since.
The Canadians always seemed to gel quickly as a team once they put on the jersey. Egos put aside and bought into the team concept 100%. Thanks for sharing this
No one and I mean No one could stop Penalty shots and breakaways under pressure like Mike Richter did.. Bill Ranford was also outstanding on Penalty shots..
Within the space of three months Adam Deadmarsh and Scott Young won the Stanley Cup (in June) and the World Cup (in September). Scott Young played 110 games and Adam Deadmarsh played 107 games in the '95-'96 season + the World Cup.
Sidney Crosby did the same thing in 2016. He he played 104 NHL games then the WCoH he also won the Conn Smythe and MVP of both. For good measure he won the Cup and another Conn Smythe in 2017.
Not complaining, just noticing thumbnail is highlight out of 1991. ALL HOCKEY IS GREAT! These final games USA - CANADA defined “sports wars”!! IN (f’ing)TENSITY
1991 had the “other-2nd) Gary Suter stick incident against Czech where he cross-checked some teeth out of Jaromir Jagr. ‘87 Suter had the facial stick chop to the Russian Lomakin and the 91 incidents. HOCKEY!!!
You know you love hockey when you watch a documentary like this and start to feel a little emotional.
Yep.
Fuck yeah
Just sucks they cut the russia canada game extremly short, it was dirty and close and Kasparaitis being a pest to Lindros and Gretzki
Hull said it best I think "We had a chance to knock the king off the crown" 😂😂😂
..says the Canadian

Mike Richter was bad ass in that tournament.
The Lou Lamoriello Ohrkesstrah always had a few drummahs
Hahhahahahhahahahhahahahahga
As a American Hockey fan to this day I can't believe the greatest whoever lived had a open look like that & didn't score.
That was really awesome. Thank you very much for showing that
2025 Four Nations Faceoff can't come soon enough!
Theo was right. It was great for hockey. I quit football and started playing ice hockey after this. Awesome tournament

How time flys
Lindros comes across like a total douche.
Cause he is I get what Keith Tkachuk did was grounds for a ejection I understand that but what Eric Lindros did before that was cheap as hell.

Lindros ❤
And it was a Canadian who helped them the most...
Suter ...can't stand the way he plays ...should be in jail cell ...what he did to Kariya, Gretzky ...plays dirty/criminal 😳☹️
Gotta give it to them they had a great Team in the US and they won. LOL, at the elite level since not so much!
Brett Hull!!...Not only a great person!!...Perhaps the greatest player ever🤩.
