Those who complained about switching off the national grid when peoples lives depend on it should understand that Some peoples lives also depend on good governance. Other peoples lives depend on a "living" wage.

I love the level of maturity and composure in the green chamber. I kindly advise the leader of the House of representative to kindly look into the area of production. I believe this will help to regulate the value of our corrency thus, improving the standard of living. Increment of salaries cannot address the issue in the country. Any attempt to add salaries is already a digging of grave for our economy and we all know the consequence. Thank you for the good fight.

The issue is not minimum wage or living wage alone. There is a cost of living crisis going on in the country. First the government should declare emergency on food security and massively engage in social intervention programs. The government should concentrate on the importation of food products, especially grains into the country to crash prices of food in the markets to reduce the high inflation rate and focus more attention on the agricultural sector. The federal government should as a matter of urgency collaborate with the various state governments and build farm settlements across the country. Concentrate on mechanized farming in order to feed the nation and Africa. If the president can show leadership in this direction, Nigerians are ready to work with the government.

What hardship does a person riding on a vehicle that costs millions of naira face? Who negotiated your own salaries before you started receiving them? You should not forget that you will not be in that house forever. One day you will leave that place because "no condition is permanent". You are eating alone and getting fat while those who voted for you are languishing in untold hardship and abject poverty and dying of hunger. God will judge all of you.
