I would have been okay if the release was delayed if it meant she could have had more time to work on it. I really hope the last book redeems the series!!

How did Barnes and Noble not have Nevernight? The Warehouse here in NZ had it on the best sellers shelf and it's not even a bookstore haha. Maybe they were sold out? I heard it was a really good book :) Ahh you're so lucky you could just go to the bookstore and buy it then come home and read! I was broke this week and it HAD to be the week that my favourite author's new book came out so I'm dying and trying to hard to avoid more EoS spoilers because I know the biggest spoiler already thanks to an ignorant person on twitter... Apparently there's no Harlequin Teen distributer in New Zealand and the closest replica is the publisher in Australia. Some booktubers/book bloggers in Auckland are currently trying to figure out how to make this work and get them to come tour here so stay patient guys! We'll make something happen! 😘 I'm sure Sasha and Lindsay know by now that they have NZ and Aussie fans waiting for them here - plus Sarah J Maas probably told them it's amazing here seeing as she travelled for two weeks after her signing being an LOTR fan haha 💜
Empire of Storms was soooo gooddd. I stayed up till like 4am reading it and it was absolutely everything and more. Lots of tears and sobbing so be warned
I live in the northern part and I was gone for most of July lol. And then it was really nice for most of August and September is soooo hot right now. It's so irritating like its hot when it's supposed to be cold and cold when it's supposed to be warm.

I went to Target today to pick up a prescription for my ear infection (along with a bunch of other crapl and while my mom was waiting for it to be filled , I asked an employee where the book section was because I normally go to Barnes & Noble. I was first directed to the children's section even though I am 13 😤👹, which meritted a very sassy "REALLY?!!" When I finally located the adults section, Empire of Storms was SOLD OUT because there was literally room for maybe 2 books. TARGET NEED TO STEP IT UP.
In my Target they have whole aisles for books! There is space for 4 books, which isn't a lot but shessh. Anyways, I go buy my books at HPB, because Barnes and Nobles is a bit too pricey for me. I'm a cheapo! 😅
Honestly I didn't like the ToG series until HoF, the plot is genius but the way the writing is executed doesn't sell me. That aside, the writing is getting better and I really enjoyed Heir of Fire. I'm now on Queen of Shadows and I'm enjoying it so far so I think I will complete the series.

Its better to read it after throne of glass imo so you get to know celaena as a character in throne of glass and then her backstory after.
