The clarity was bad, but the story was good and I greatly enjoyed the one liners! I have been enjoying these Scott Lord Mysteries. The detective and his secretary were great in this one!
I keep laughing when he calls her "stupid" and other things yet she never gets offended. What a great relationship they have - workable/friendly/efficient - and FUN!
Much of the "resolution" problems comes from the restoration processes. The jumpy camera angles, low 'resolutions', are just signs of restoration. This is, after all, a 1935 film - Post "Silent Films" but Pre-WW2 films.
Why do the camera angles spin as though photographed by a hand held camera ? I get the impression someone sat in front of a tv filming the screen ! Aside from this I really enjoy these old films.
I liked the way he hummed when he was thinking ! Absolutely the funniest secretary ever!! Thoroughly enjoyed their banter! Thanks for posting it!🤗
Great movie.I love the way people dressed, the cars& the music 🎵
thank you
It was a good movie. This is the second time I watched it. Very good. Thank you, Scott Lord.

What makes you think she isn't shrinking under the invalidations (put downs) in real life?
@@morningatsea look for the (supposed) negatives and, sure enough ..... VOILA !
That's my kinda gal😅
Them was the days yu cld call yur sweetheart a dummy and it be ok. Me, I prefer nicer words😊
A great film but the fuzziness and constant glitches kind of make one "seasick" but well worth watching.
The ladies back in these tines are 1000 times better looking than these days and they have waaaaaaaaaaaay more class and elegance
At 1:53 All of a sudden, the camera buzzes across the room to the man standing in the door. Looks like it is the camera man's very first shoot. lol
Nice film. Pity about the graphic resolution. Never mind - Thanks for posting!

What do you mean 'restoration'? There is none!
A good 🎥😊

Pan and scan feature of some video processing program I think.
Fuzzy but enjoyable. Denny is always watchable, and Patricia Farr was cute as ’Stupid’, sadly died of cancer in her 30s.
Albert later on wound up in bit part as one line in an Andy hardy fil7m
Poor quality, blurred. I’m seeing double which in itself would not be bad if it was Jayne Mansfield 😺
Great movie😅😅😅😅😅😅
That's a pretty muddy image. Can't watch it..
Spoiler alert: real stinkeroo 😺
