- Hi everyone! Today I tested out the Gucci Skin Gloss and compared it to Vaseline to see if there was any difference between the two products. In this video I show you how to apply the face gloss to your cheeks, lips, and eyes and let you know if it performs the same, better, or worse than vaseline. When I saw Gucci had released another makeup product I was super excited to try it out since I love to try out different products that give you that glass skin effect! I’ve been using this product a lot lately and find that if you put it under your foundation it is not sticky and still gives a beautiful glow! 😄

Thank you for this review! I definitely want to try the Gucci skin gloss. I have used Vaseline on my brows to keep them in place but I never liked the feel of it on my face.I am grateful for your review of this product. You are adorable 😊

The texture of the Gucci is what I love. It's hard to capture it on film. It's very silky.
yes definitely different than vaseline!
I use it as a lip gloss only! But a little goes along way!
Mix vaseline with a non-sparkly highlighter and you get the same effect

Almost two years later this had only gone up one whole dollar. Impressive considering all the other price hikes that are happening everywhere. I just discovered this product on their website and had to look it up. I’m a lover of old movies and have always been intrigued by the glossy lids I always see on stars such as Bette Davis. If Gucci’s gloss works like I’m hoping it does, it could definitely be a contender. I know they probably used Vaseline back in the day, but I know Vaseline, and it doesn’t dry. My eyelids can tend to be a touch oily at times, so that ain’t gonna work. lol Now to watch your review!
Post vid thoughts: welp, you gave me all the info I needed. Thanks! Looks like they definitely out in the research to make this product work well for the face, with or without makeup. To me the Gucci side definitely looked better. I honestly don’t know that I would even notice the Vaseline side if I saw you walking down the street. Thanks so much for doing this comparison! Do you feel like it’s similar to Glossier Futuredew at all? I tried a sample of that and wondering how the Gucci compares if at all
I haven't tried the Glossier Futuredew, but I did just look up what it is and that seems to be more of a serum versus this is more like vaseline (like a thicker and stickier consistency than Futuredew)

i wonder if you put the gucci gloss after you put on foundation.. would it be sticky towards your skin?
I've used it over my foundation and it does feel sticky on your skin, but I have not tried it under my foundation yet so I am going to test that out and see if it helps the product dry down faster
I put the face gloss under my foundation and it wasn’t sticky! I highly recommend doing that instead of putting it on top of the foundation :)

It does! If you are only trying to have a nice highlight for a photo I would just stick with the vaseline, but the only problem is that the vaseline will make your make up separate after awhile

Вита Смит yeah I found the Vaseline on my eyes to be very tacky feeling and I can definitely see it getting into my eyes had I kept it on much longer

Hey! The Gucci skin gloss does not separate your foundation and if you are worried about it being sticky I have found that if you apply it before your foundation it still gives a really nice glow without the stickiness 😄
