- Marcus Winter is an indegenious artist of New Zealand, and is the only "performance painter" of his kind in Australasia and the Pacific.
The following is his live art performance using Sand Art. Marcus tells the Māori creation story of the world being formed by the violent separation of Ranginui, the Sky Father, and Papatuanuku, the Earth Mother, by their children.
He later proceeds to present day landmarks of Auckland, New Zealand and ends with the welcome to the audience to the event, The Original Art Sale 2010, held at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Original Art Sale is still ongoing with over a thousand artworks by over 400 New Zealand artists, 25 to 27 June at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, Manukau City, Auckland, New Zealand. Развлечения
From a Maori boy living abroad, this is absolutely amazing. I feel honoured to be here on this journey with You. Nga mihi Whanau. Mauri Ora!! 🖤
Excellent work!! A story told eloquently without words, the music is also haunting and adds a mystical feel to the whole process.
The first piece is "Nga Tamariki o Te Kohu" by Mere Boynton on her album "Mere Boynton and Friends: Waikohu" and the second piec is definitely 'One Tree Hill ' by U2.
I watched this many years ago and i can't believe this guy has only 190.00 views he deserves way more recognition than this!
A windscreen wiper (Commonwealth English) or windshield wiper (American English) is a device used to remove rain, snow, ice, washer fluid, water, or debris from a vehicle's front window. Almost all motor vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, train locomotives, and watercraft with a cabin-and some aircraft-are equipped with one or more such wipers, which are usually a legal requirement. A wiper generally consists of a metal arm; one end pivots, and the other end has a long rubber blade attached to it. The arm is powered by a motor, often an electric motor, although pneumatic power is also used for some vehicles. The blade is swung back and forth over the glass, pushing water, other precipitation, or any other impediments to visibility from its surface. The speed is usually adjustable on vehicles made after 1969, with several continuous rates and often one or more intermittent settings. Most personal automobiles use two synchronized radial-type arms, while many commercial vehicles use one or more pantograph arms.

Tāne Māhuta created the forests and seen in the Kauri tree, after ..is it Rangitoto island?

Okay here is the story, but in text... In the beginning, Rangi nui (Sky father), meet Papatuanuku (mother earth). The feel each in love with each other. Tahi (one) day, they had children wich are... the other goddess, but Rangi nui, and Papatuanuku grew too attached to each other. So there children begged for more space and see the light... But Rangi nui and Papatuanuku loved each other so much, they didn't want too let go! So there children tryed too PUSH!! There father away and further for more space! but there father was too strong!! Until the oldest of ALL his brothers... Taneimahuta A goddess, so Taneimahuta PUSHED AND PUSHED!! But it wasn't enough, so his other brothers joined together too PUSH there father, further away! Papatuanuku, held Rangi nui as KAHA (POWERFULLY) as she can! It wasn't enough, there children succeed. And that's the story told by text
Ranginui and Papatuanuku had 70 children they were all male. Here is our story of creation, we are tangata whenua (people of the land).
what do you know about the creation of the world in the story?
Tau ke!
This is amazing but I have no idea what the story was supposed to be
