Its amazing how Jesus name is everywhere lately. Praise the king.
He’s not dead, he just smells that way.

The Jewish people were pretty literate during Jesus's time. The Antidiluvian period in the Bible was under oral tradition...
Thinking themselves wise, they became fools.
True today as it was then.
Jesus is winning 🕊️🔥
He already won
It is cool though….great discussion…….its the question that nobody wants to talk about……it’s literally the question we all want to answer, but can’t……unless you believe…..or don’t…….the debate continues….
Don't do that with ellipses. It makes us look stupid.
In Matthew 27: 50 an entire city of saints have their own resurrections, do we believe this is also true?
Okay the last part was hilarious 😭😂
The FACT that you are talking about Yeshua today IS proof. The world CHANGED because of him and EVERY firsthand Disciple NEVER CHANGED THEIR STATEMENT UP DO DEATH!!!!
There’s one account written of the account
It’s strange that no other non believers spoke of this as nonsense
Almost like they weeent allowed to write blasphemous statements that contradict
No one knows for sure
There are lots of small religions that overthrown huge empires
By the way, Jesus never claimed to be the God, He said “Me and the Father are one”. And Truthfully since he received God’s holy spirit and also said “The son does nothing in his own accord but only what he sees the Father doing”. Meaning he shared God’s spirit and God’s will, meaning God’s purpose. Thats why he said “the Father was always at his work and so he also had work to do” meaning God’s work; God the father was working through his son Jesus Christ and so they were united as one. Also, It had been prophecied about the messiah before Abraham so thats also why he said “Before Abraham I was” So yeah we ought to have clear understanding of this because this becomes a stumbling rock for many people to believe in Christianity and Jesus as the messiah.
This gentleman made a great point about the possibility of surviving being crucified, you don’t survive that and continue the lie. You don’t get out and perform more miracles. Joe keeps fighting faith but I pray one day he finds the love Jesus, father God can give him. I wish he’d study the teachings with an open mind and heart.
I don’t understand how anybody can believe in any of the horseshit religions. Literally zero evidence any of the stories in the Bible are remotely true.
@@evanshea5199 There’s historical evidence that attests so much of what is written in the Bible. It’s a history book.
@ the hell if it is. That’s the most insane statement I’ve heard. The Bible is a collection of 2nd to 3rd hand accounts passed through word of mouth at a time where people were illiterate and stupid.
He’s an expert on history that was written by someone or something that was designed for the purpose of keeping people under control. Truth is we don’t know the facts and just because someone talks a good game will not lead me to follow blindly
One of the things that always gets me when reading the gospels is some of the random details. Like after the resurrection, there are a number of instances where the disciples do not even recognize Jesus initially. What do you guys think is the significance of that? Was it that the disciples couldn't believe what they were witnessing?
I'm sure if your loved one came back from the dead, you'd sort of question it too.
Seems pretty natural to reject a resurrection, especially when there were so many witnesses to his death...that's where faith comes in.
I wondered that too. GPT had a response that still puzzled me
Great comedian wes huff
33 And then they heard again, Adon Mashich Cumi.
34 And then the white-robed form tramped on the Roman seal and then he tore it into
shreds; he took the mighty stone in hand as though it were a pebble from the brook,
and cast it to the side.
35 And Jesus opened up his eyes and said, All hail the rising sun; the coming of the
day of righteousness!
36 And then he folded up his burial gown, his head bands and his coverings and laid
them all aside.
37 He rose, and for a moment stood beside the white-robed form.
38 The weaker soldiers fell upon the ground, and hid their faces in their hands; the
stronger stood and watched.
39 They saw the body of the Nazarene transmute; they saw it chage from mortal to
immortal form, and then it disappeared.
40 The soldiers heard a voice from somewhere; yea, from everywhere, it said,
41 Peace, peace on earth; good will to men.
Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years!
There are hundreds of contradictions in the Bible. Not to mention over 14000 differences from the oldest full script codex Sinaiticus and a modern NIV or King James, due to interpretation and interpolation.
Romans also never removed the body after crucifixion, the point of the crucifixion was the humiliation and no proper burial...
I think religions and holy books mess up when they claim that it is FAITH that is needed, and yet in the same conversation attempt to use evidence for believing what they believe. It quite literally is oxymoronic.
Well put
We are the ones who need faith , because we were not there to witness it for ourselves.
John 20:29
Jesus said unto him, “Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed. Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed.”
Hope this helps .
@ I don’t care what the Bible says. I don’t get my epistemological method for determining what is real and what isn’t from an ancient multi-translated book written by unknown authors in a time of scientific ignorance.
Faith is an emotional reason people give for believing something that they know that there is no evidence for nor any good reason to believe it.
@@mjfraser04A lot of Christians helped advanced scientific concepts we all accept today. Copernicus proposed heliocentrism, Mendel is the father of genetics- both were Catholics. There are many examples like this. It’s a myth that “the church” was anti-science when in truth a lot of Christians were driven to science in effort to understand God and the world.
Christianity doesn't do that, ppl who try to use evidence are historians who try to debunk the bible/christianity.
I love the constant smug look on his face. It's like he knows how full of shit he is and can't believe he's got this far with it.

Paul didn’t even know Christ how does he know
Paul hung out and traveled with the disciples, especially Peter.
Why don’t we have a gospel of Peter ? Yet most of the New Testament is written by Paul who hijacked Jesus religion and made his own laws above Christ
No one has answers... whether the damn progenitor of existence is a thing or not, no one knows. It is way beyond our business. And claiming to know who it is, how it works, etc. Is unfathomably stupid. It's a human tool, a thought, nothing more, because we're flawed apes surfing a wave, which the common moron mistakes for a train track.
So why is it he is the only one saying this
What?
500 not 400!! Jesus was beaten to a pulp, stabbed through the heart by a trained killer, beard plucked off, scourged and of course nailed to a cross and survived? and then ate and drank and spoke and taught and saw go alive up into Heaven in front of hundreds. And it changed the lives of the men and women that experienced Jesus from scared rabbits to lions - afraid no more longer.

Resurrection was a common belief in first century & before. Populations believed heroes, kings & pagan priests were expected to rise from dead. Crucifixions were generally done on X platforms not crosses.
yet for some reason every artist and anyone alive at that time says it was a cross. ill trust you on it tho.
And yet their stories have not endured. To be in essence of one's existence, would you waste your energy on what you know is a lie, there is deep meditation on the crux of Christianity, explore for yourself.

Why? Why would all but Judas and actually many more, be willing to be tortured and killed for a lie? What sense does that make? Do more research.

Better to think of the gospels as metaphor rather then literal, particularly for claims of miracles and stories like Jonah, Moses, and Noah
Exactly. What they couldn't explain they substituted with miracles. Other than that, it's probably a decent historical account of physical history. You just have to look past the miracles bs.
You think it's dumb because of miracles? Wouldn't it be dumb if a so called all powerful god COULDN'T perform miracles and magic?

@@DrSpoculus and you believe the universe came about on its own, created itself, out of nothingness. That seems like the dumber belief to me
@skatingsam96 no, i don't believe that.. That's silly af to believe. One idea being false doesn't automatically make the other idea true. There are many ways the universe could have came to be. More than 2 options.
Nothing can't exist without something to oppose it, to compare to. What is nothing if there isn't something? Ying and Yang, my friend. The universe has always been here. It had no beginning because the laws of the universe don't allow it to experience "nothing".
It never required a big bang or a creator. It always existed.

While Jesus doesn’t say the exact words, “I am God,” many of His statements and actions in the Gospels are interpreted as claims to divinity by Christians. This is a key reason why early Christians, including the apostles, worshipped Him as divine. The interpretation often depends on theological perspectives and how one views the context of His words and actions. And btw his name isn’t Jesus
