Nah mkwii online in general is coded poorly it’s always laggy
Flounderfest idea: if a track has a shortcut, you HAVE to do it (or attempt it if it’s one where you could potentially fall off the track, like mushroom gorge gap jumps) every lap, regardless of placement, regardless of item. 200 CC if needed. Thinking of stuff along the lines of mushroom gorge/road factory gap cut, desert hills hill cut, coconut mall shortcut, maple freeway shortcut, bowser castle 3 shortcut, etc
Crazy how inconsistent red shells are in this game. Meanwhile in MK8D, those red shells avoid obstacles while drifting into purple mini boosts to catch up to you.
I am pretty sure NMeade was actually sir, just playing with his feet.
who would of guessed 5 years ago that the piranha prowler with a color change would bring out a 33 minute video, i love the growth of this game
Who is this "sir" guy? Is he a competitive player under a different name? He was increadably much better than anyone else in the room.
I wonder if there's handful of just absolute MKWii _legends_ that like to pick the game up from time to time and dominate everyone.
Because the possibility there are players that are that much better than Troy and Nick seems so unlikely. Troy and Nick are literally professionals. Who's spending even _more_ time playing this game than they are?
Or another modder? Who says a modder can't join another modder's lobby? An unlikely but not unsaid possibility, considering that player somehow broke away almost every race.

@@natebit7167 he is not modding, i can tell by how their vehicle is behaving exactly like the flame runner (also they have 9999vr too, modding in wiimmfi is easily caught and punished). Troy and NMeade are BY FAR not the best players in mkwii especially on online (they’re better at time trials)
even when the data shows, people just think their favorite youtubers are the best players in that game for some reason

It does kinda bug me how the playing field is fairly obviously biased against Troy when NMeade is playing... in a way, it makes the competition less of a competition and more of a test of whether or not Troy can avoid getting screwed by the rest of the lobby. It was really most blatant in the last race where someone held the blue shell until NMeade finished and then hit Troy with it, it would have been way cooler if there was a sudden death tiebreaker instead of just letting NMeade win. I know it's hype that NMeade might win the FounderFest but I think it's significantly less hype if everyone else is conspiring to make it happen and it isn't hard fought

How about the two of you get into a game with bots, bet which one will get first and drive around to sabotage the other vehicles in order to make your bot win?
Unfortunately the way Mariokart manages ai doesn't seem fair enough for that to work. Each ai seems to get arbitrarily assigned their expected placement, and rubberband accordingly. If you could somehow make all bots equal though, that would be hilarious!

I did the Shock Dodge counter on Nick's channel first due to the late upload. His perspective is definitely worth a watch! I can't wait to see more vehicle mods in the future for this series.
Idea you could ask to Atlas, making Bullet Bike with max stats for everything but off-road and weight, and give them lowest stats possible, this will create so much things happening to the screen and won't be that broken because a bump could get you on the grass (if off-road stats is too low, just up it as much as this need to be fun for you two)

I think you’re severely underestimating this thing. I don’t know exactly what its speed is, but even if it’s only a little faster than the jetsetter(say 2kmh faster), I think it’s faster than the Flame runner on most tracks. Don’t underestimate the combined power of speed and insane super mini-turbos. Combine that with its insane accel, off-road, turning, and weight, and it’s certainly better than the Bowser bike, even with its enormous hitbox.

This shows very well how messed up the balancing in Mario Kart Wii is. Even if you give a kart the best stats possible, it is still significantly worse than the best one or two bikes lol

Now all Atlas needs to do is mod the Cheep Charger into the Floundering Fish.
One idea for a challenge is you have all stats maxed out except for two stats that each of you choose to be zero. (For example you could have mini turbo and off road at 0 while everything else is maxed)
If Nmeade wins one more time, Troy will have to cosplay Funky Kong
The inside drift wouldn't look as weird on karts if it still animated like outside drift

Atlas should make a mod that makes all the stats the "off chart" max except the drift (or else it'll be unusable) make the drift like the on chart max

I like how the worst vehicles in the game are turned into memes, thus making them Meme vehicles cuz of how ridiculously overpowered they’ve been modes to.

A spoiler shield that artificially extends the length of the vid to 35 mins would be nice for these best of 3 GPs. As is, it's always obvious whether it's going to be 2 GPs or 3 before the video even starts. Still entertaining though.
