Ok,.. now its official,.. i'm relying on this show for my general well-being. Lana - NONE of the shows without you felt right. Leigh - Moon Tv was hilarious, your deadpan humour is vital to the show Marc - DON'T CHANGE Ric - We see the work you put in, don't get discouraged when everything turns to chaos, that's the magic. My teenage sons walked into the room and said "what?!... you like sports now?'' I explained that the team was like a class detention with Rik being the teacher trying to stick to the lesson plan where the students are determined to have fun at his expense, which he both resents, and enjoys. They watched for a bit and started laughing at the show. New Fans = Secured.
Bloody good! I’m holding back from listening to the episode on Spotify, bit cheeky to have released that few hours earlier than the yt video. Many fond memories of this show back in the day alongside game of two halves!
It’s not fake or contrived. I’m hoping the show can get back to something close to its original format as I think true kiwi content is fading by the day!! I’ve lived in Australia for almost 2 decades now and I still think that true local kiwi content was the best stuff I saw on telly! My dad who passed away recently used to record Shortland street because he thought it was our patriotic responsibility to watch it. He would never wage a bet against a kiwi team. I feel his lose and remember fondly watching the sports cafe with him so I appreciate Rick,Macca, Lana and Leigh for giving it a go again! Thanks guys.
