I definitely think an “in case of emergency” centre back and full back are in order, as well as a starting calibre AM to allow Hulme to be a super sub/elite backup in AM and DM. Your wage concerns are valid, however I think that if your aims are to get automatic promotion, it may be worth to push the boat out in terms of wages of star players, especially considering you have great money in the bank. P.S there would be nothing wrong with upgrading the goalie as the season goes on. Sorry for the long comment

6:11 i'm managing dulwich hamlet rn. signed whitaker for league two and was surprised to find he's 6'6 (198cm) in my save 😂 i think fm randomizes potential and height, ive seen players be 5'7 in one save and 6'2 in another
@@skipbinthere is a new regens mod out it's not by Zealand tho, also not sure how u feel about this but on fm scout there is an ai generated face pack for regens where u literally download the pack put it in graphics folder for fm an do absolutely nothing and it automatically asigns a face for all future regens.

That is the case, I'm basically giving myself 3 years to get out of League One if we do get promoted
