Have used the dicer for pico de gallo so far. The red onion was a disaster but maybe I needed to peel off another later or two (too fibrous?) but it diced the roma tomatoes beautifully! SO fast - loved that. The 2 jallepenos not so much. But if it will do great with cukes for greek salad (along with the tomatoes) and potatoes, it will have been worth it to me. The small bowl minced the garlic shockingly fast. Next time I'll do the pepper and possibly also onion using one of the regular S blades (big or small).

Thanks for the video. Would you please do an extensive review and demo video on the newer Breville Paradice 16? There is virtually nothing on RUclips yet regarding it (the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all!). Would love to hear some genuine user feedback on all of its options. Thanks, again. 🙂

@@jesus.maryandjoseph8880 If I can find some time after the holiday season, yes. I've never made one (you can tell I'm not good at this type of thing!) but I agree...there's weirdly nothing out there yet. Made a large greek salad the other night and it was so effortless to dice the cukes and roma tomatoes using the machine. I forgot to try it again with the red onion and just chopped one up (I was in a big hurry) so all I needed to add to it was the dressing, some feta and greek olives after that.

Note that for those of you who have this same older model, mine came with a whipping disc which I never used as well as a julienne disc which I also never used. The whipping disc might be nice if I kept my food processor on the counter but I don't so usually grab my electric hand mixer because it mixes fast enough with less to clean after (so I wouldn't even use my stand mixer for that). So in the end, it's literally the two parts I never used that the new one doesn't come with. I'm guessing that helped save them money to invest in other areas of the newer machine.
