I've been training for 59 years off and on. I still hold a Texas State raw bench press record that was a national record a few years ago. I did not hear one thing I disagree with in your vid. Props brother! Sub'd
Great video! I love how you simplified bicep training with just two effective exercises while also explaining the science behind them. The tips on form and progressive overload were super helpful! A bit of trimming on repetitive points could make it even more engaging, but overall, awesome job making this actionable and easy to follow. Definitely inspired to try that superset strategy!
Great video! Was trying to narrow my biceps workout down to essentials needed for growth so this came out at the right time. Thanks for keeping it simple.
How would you alter this if you are working at home and do NOT have this equipment? Do you use a broomstick? How would you do the preacher curl at home?
Hey folks! Thank you for this cool video! I have a question though: is there a variation for the preacher curl if one doesn't have access to the machine?
You could use a tilt up bench, set the bench to 45, 50 degrees up. You could use the armrest of your couch. You could sit down and use your elbow by placing your elbow on your knee.
Wow this is a very amazing and superb video bro telling about this topic of only 2 exercises that grew our biceps and keep it up and keep up the good work as always and take care Keep smiling always
I'll try this one. Thanks. And if I quote this comment mentioning that it did well, it means it would literally work for any skinny guy who have never achieved to grow their biceps :D
Why not use EZ bar for stood up curls? Is it because of wrist? I always do ez curls but I got brain damage as a teen and resulted in mobility issues in my left hand (my hand operates like a claw all at once or not at all). When doing curls the ez bar feels so much more comfortable and when I do press ups I use press up bars and have them at angles as again feels more comfortable on my gimpy side.
Not really sure hwo the standing bb curl is so much different from the preacher curl. Only if you curl the brabel a bit wider in grip, you would target the muscles a bit different. The preacher curl has both upper arms more or less parallel I guess. I would prefer a machine for the curls as it gives you a constant force against your biceps - instead of just the gravity with the barbels - which is highly dependant on the angle.
There is something wrong with me, I have bizarre love of reverse barbell curl, even though it spreads load into foreams. Functionally prevents injury from repeatedly lifting 10lb equipment one handed grip, 5-600x times a day, week at a time. 😉
Hammer curls are the shizzle. You can do a balls load of weight and make you look strong as shit. Switch to hammer curls then you will lift a balls load and get a forearm and a bicep workout as well.
Keep going. You'll really start to notice after 6 mos. If you're not already overweight, then eat in a slight caloric surplus, get your protein, center carbs around your workout (pre and post) and get ample sleep. Building muscle takes years, but by 6mos you should see some results, more after 1 yr. Then it just continues.
I started working out lifting I started with 10 pounds then got to 15 pounds and I’ve stayed their pretty much all the time though their was a 2 month Period where I did the same workout to times a day instead of one I’d lift take a break then go back and I saw 30 percent growth … the only reason I ended the streak was since it gave me a bruise on my shoulder and couldn’t do it probably did wrong form ? though in cardio I hit 400 Cals elliptical and can run I think about 3 miles in 21 mins ? Just guessing. I do this daily on everything I typed
Doing bicep curls with a straight bar is uncomfortable. I'd choose an EZ-Bar over a straight bar when doing curls, and even then standard bicep curls exercise is garbage. I would replace it with at least a cable curl or incline curls.
@dr.richardjurica8029 Not really, it's just not a good biceps exercise. You only get tension at the middle of the curl and curling with a straight bar wrecks your wrists. I'd argue that cable curls are better because you get even tension on both the bottom and top.

also don’t forget about weighted chin ups
👍 I haven't been notified of a vid in awhile. Time to binge watch

😂😂😂do you have a gf?
Use her hands and legs and lift her up for exercises
Cable bicept curl is the one where I really feel bicept getting hammered. So thats the one for me. And cant live without dumbells.
Thank you for this awesome vid. Much appreciated Peace

Get shallow tubs that can slide on 2x4s like those large tub racks. Put one directly below the saw to catch debris and others as drawers to hold stuff
add more like this
Video like this for every body parts
CAN YOU DO A VIDEO ABOUT SERMORELIN PLEASE
Are push ups helpful for this??
What about hammer curl? Does it make your biceps wider?
awesome - anything similar for traps???

Much better than all these scientific references videos. Thanks bro
what about hammer curl?
Can you do triceps?
Barbell bicep curl
Preacher curl -- with eze bar
The incline dumbbell curl hits the long head of the biceps, not the short head and hammer curls hit the brachioradialis not the long head
Bro is looked ripped as hell😎🙌🏾 what’s you’re height bro?
Could I just use the barbell curl and change the position each time? Together then apart?
Hello old friend!
I'm doing some of them at my current program
Bonjour,comment faire avec les 2 biceps de décrochés à 74ans,mais encore la,merci
How much do curls carry over to chinups or pullups and vice-versa?
But with stright bar I have a a problem with my wrists what’s your solution for that?
I use an EZ bar to help with my wrists, I don't know if you've tried that or not? Hope that helps brother.
@@Jimmy-Feena Thank you
Please make a video on arms dumbbell

Any point in using an old school arm blaster?

Dude. You are either a savage or a god, my friend.

@ronburgandy7571 dude been doing hammer kurlz with a football bar. Insane pump, can go heavy.
What if you do fast reps and heavy weight and high reps
I do cable bicep curls and machine preacher curls is that just as good?
I’ve been working out for 3 months and I don’t notice a difference on muscles just burnt fat. I guess I gotta keep being consistent.
Me neither.. but i do notice the weight different tho

8 sets, how many times a week ?
0:20 bad form, don"t to this
Yeah terrible, barely any bicep activation.
Shoulders n back??
Dumbbell lat raises & pull-ups.
Preacher curls SUCK compared to Machine curls. Machine curls add constant time under tension.
The bent bar give me tendonitis in my forearms. Especially with reverse curls.
Thank u 🩵
9 large meals? How many calories???
You need exercises to grow your beard now.
You have a nice body sir
❤❤
Bring back that beard bro
How about calisthenics?

kinda hard to eat carbs when you are diabetic.. I only eat 150 grams a day
7:07 9 big meals every single day??😮
Preacher curls is dangerous for tendons
👍

Doesn't hit the heads the same. Perhaps a little fear of hard work?
