Didn't see the game personally but from what I heard ashby hammond had a good game and obviously you can't stop macca from scoring we just still need to fix this individual errors though no matter if its a win/loss
Hammond was sketchy, very nearly conceded 2 goals that no one who's seen a football would concede. But on the other side.of the coin, he pulled off some decent saves
@James-tz8qe of all our keepers? 100% number one but we have him on loan so hopefully w buy him perm and get another keeper especially with slocombe comming to his final seasons

Think the jury is still out on SM we will make our judgement early next season based on the close season defensive signings and hope we have Matty P back in top form we have missed his contribution sooooooooo much
I thought that was a good interview and explanation from SM. It was always going to take time as he is up and coming still learning his trade. Plus we all know new personnel is required in defence. Let’s just get behind him for next season and trust in the owners! 👍🏽
Not wishing to take anything away from the result, I thought we made hard work of a relatively poor side. We are not converting chances and making most of opportunities, and I certainly dont condone feigning injury for tactical reasons. Looking forward to seeing some strengthening the squad over the summer, and hope we have not seen the last of our better players.
No need to risk disrupting balance by changing our shape when we were in full control of the game. Also a potential goodbye for Macca, but I'd hope it's more just a case of giving him a rest and a standing ovation.

On balance Notts have played some really attractive football this season and it's been a pleasure to watch them, personally l think promotion would have been a step too far, thinking about two promoted teams from last season, Carlisle and possibly Port Vale, also, look at FRG two years of relegation. Notts, unfortunately when you add it up suffered home and away defeats to the top three, Sutton United and if Crewe are promoted, that will have been a loss of 30 points, l can't see that happening next season, and I am very confident with one or two additions to the squad we will do very well, am looking forward to it.😅
The worst football match I have ever seen. No commitment, lack of energy and no interest for the whole game. Jodi Jones never took his fullback on the whole of the game. If I had paid good money to watch this negative display I would expect my money back?????????

Really unsure as to why Macca was taken off when he was? Granted I know Scott needs minutes but why couldn't the two of them play up top?

In summary, a second rate side beats a third rate side. To get a true perspective on Maynards tenure, just look where Wrexham are in the table.
Wrexhams budget is 3 times that of Notts. There's a reason why the 3 biggest budgets go up in the automatic places.
