I'm planning to do the GP this weekend, either in San Diego or Carlsbad. I've only raced at the Corona track, which is polished concrete and best lap of the week around 27 sec (longer track than SD). Seems like here there just aren't many spaces to pass. Any comments or advice?
For passing, a lot of the times, it's either gonna be a bump/pass or you have to be at the right place at the right time. It's just the way 99% of the way k1 tracks are designed. Also, you need to take mental notes on how some karts will have better/less grip than others and some have better power than others on a straight line, so you take advantage at the right time.
