I don't mind his verse, but the lyric in this version "I guess those days are gone, baby you have to forget, and I have to move on" is SO MUCH BETTER then the I'm singing with Sean one. I don't know if the intent was to make it less sad sounding or what, but that lyric makes me cringe a tad, where as this one makes me swoon and pulls at my heart.
Christopher Cook I think they sound great but I wish this would’ve been the one on the album and maybe he could’ve released the duet version? I’m not quite sure why but I feel like lust for life would’ve miles better without so many collaborations
LightAndCosmia I agree with you! In the album version it seems to be a happy ending, even though “tomorrow never came”, and that didn’t make any sense! It is obviously a goodbye song, and these two lines confirm everything. I love the album version a lot too, and I don’t mind Sean’s voice, but the lyrics are not logical.
2 lines that change everything and makes it so sad
This is definitely a song that didn’t need the feature ❤️
The heart- 💀
Honestly tho, it’s nice having an edit without that annoying crypto bro lol
Baby you have to forget, and I have to move on...
I love this version so much omg
i wish this was how it was released 😭😭😭
Wish this was an album version. It's so beautiful. 😍
This is so much better than the released version
I disagree, but to each their own. I love Sean's verse and think that he and Lana sound great together.
