Haha,it was indeed not really easy also because I wanted the white feather to be in it.Next time anyway come up with an easy something for in the glass cover.
So glad RUclips suggested your channel! I've recently started a similar style channel and taking notes from yours 🤎 You're so inspiring and talented, sending my best wishes from the UK and looking forward to seeing more and supporting you! 🤗
All of the beautiful Christmas vignettes you've created are reminiscent of walking into a vintage parlour filled with many beloved items!! So enjoy your channel ❤
France is really beautiful, I hope you get another chance to come here. There are so many beautiful places like provence, burgundy, dordogne and also where we live in lot et garonne it is beautiful. Actually everywhere.
So relaxing watching you place those beautiful objects carefully. The atmosphere you have created is perfect.👌 The special people we remember at Christmas with the things we bought together or were gifted, is what makes it unique. I may start tomorrow but my head isn’t in the right place yet🤣🤣😳I am sure your children will love it and hope the kittens don’t get too inquisitive😉
Thank you susie, I totally recognize that you have to be in the right mood to get the Christmas decorations in the house. Have had that plenty of times too. I only started a week before Christmas because I didn't feel like it before. 😅
I think having Christmas decorations makes it feel a lot more special, especially for the children. Now on my own, I haven't done it since 2016, maybe I'll start again once I move to Europe. Making your own makes it even better.❤️
We didn't always have much in the house for Christmas either. This year I think almost most of it though. Where in Europe do you want to move to? And soon or not for a few years
Hi Colinda, I plan to travel first and because I don't think I could decide on an area without getting a feeling for it. I want to look at France, Italy, Portugal first, but I haven't ruled out anywhere as this is where I plan to retire and stay for good. Definitely remote, rural and rustic with enough space for a vegetable garden and some chickens ideally. I will know when I find it.❤️
That's always a smart idea to travel first. We used to go to France that's why we ended up here. But italy and Portugal are beautiful too so if we had traveled first we might have ended up there too. Italy we did go but without the kids.
I do it with pleasure. For us it's also a diary that we can see in many years what we all have done. Also for our kids, to show them you can do many things if you wanted it.
Poor Teddy. He just wants to celebrate. We started putting up our decorations this past weekend. The candles in the pots are so cool. I may try that in my home. You are so creative with your decorations. I love finding vintage glass ornaments in antique shops.
He wanted the pine cones so much. But no it's not a chew toy. I have a few glass ornaments = the birds that you saw in this video. A mini teapot, a christmas three, a car, nuts, bells and I think maybe some other things 😅
Thank you, I am in love with them. Especially because they where from my stephfather who passed away. They are great for decorating not only with christmas.
Thank you, they are special to me. I always think it's important for a home to be personal, with things that mean something to you. Things that remind you of someone, or that were given to you. Or something you made yourself. There are so many soulless things for sale in stores, produced by the millions. Such a shame because you can find many more special items as well.
It all looks lovely. Great job. Good to remember friends that have gone before us. Catherine would feel special that you did that. Greetings from Australia
Thanks Ana, I have a few things in my home that are original from people who passed away that I knea. The glass domes from my stephfather, Some chairs also from Katrien, an old maria statue from my grandmother. Such a blessing to have.
🎅🧑🎄🎄🎄🎄. Bonsoir, Did you find the living room's walls in this state or did you create it (flat bricks and lime). That is very original we are used in south west to see bricks and big pebbles and lime.
Putting that glass cover on was an impressive feat!
Haha,it was indeed not really easy also because I wanted the white feather to be in it.Next time anyway come up with an easy something for in the glass cover.
You have made your home very welcoming each step of the way even when the rooms were not finished ❤️
Thank you, we do our best :-)

Thank you Donna for this beautiful compliment. 🥰
I am American /Canadian and I just found your channel, traveled to Paris for the first time ever last summer, I am enamored by France.

Everything looks lovely, and I like how you used the domes. I also like your helper!
Yes Teddy wanted to help badly this time. The domes are my favorite thing in the room.
Your pooch is adorable!❤ Everything is just lovely! Very cozy and inviting.
Thanks Teresa. 😀
Thanks for the videos!

Wow! So much fun to watch your decorating! Thanks for spreading holiday spirit.😸I love the old ornaments.
Thank you, normally I have a lot more old ornaments but this year they stayed in the boxes. 😅 for our cats. Hopefully next year
Lovely and interesting walls , plus the surround on top of the door..
Yes, we have a lot of the walls here in our village. I think because we live near a river. And with that clay the made these stones.
Those cloches are just absolutely everything ❤❤
Thank you, I am in love with them. Especially because they where from my stephfather who passed away. They are great for decorating not only with christmas.
@@petitrevefranceyes, everything you put under a cloche “stands out”, imo.
Hehehe, that look, resting his head on the table is hilarious, very entertaining.😂
Hahaha he wanted the pine cone so much. 😅 So he has also secretly grabbed it off the table once to chew on it.
Wow - absolutely beautifully done - great video - thanks
Thank you 😀
We really like your stories about your decorations which brings them to life. Very beautiful.
Joyeux Noel 🎄

@@petitrevefranceI totally agree ❤
I enjoyed watching your video while baking Christmas cookies. Your decorations are a lovely mix of traditional, natural, and modern.
Thank you Michelle. 😀

Your tree brings me happiness. You found a bunch of cute ornaments. Merry Christmas!
Thank you, he is very colorful this year. Merry Christmas to you too.
Zo gezellig die kerstsfeer. En die eekhoorntjes buiten in de boom, zo schattig
