Oh wow I didn’t know they had Discovery thrift shops in LA lol. I always go to the one in Carmel/ Pacific Grove (central cali) when I go back home to visit. And yes, they do have amazing pieces - but can be a little pricey. Anyhoo, great finds!! ❤
The blue silk blouse was stunning on you. I appreciate you letting us know about these stores, although I wouldn’t call them thrift stores, as the term “thrift” makes me think it’s affordable. Still good to know where to find gorgeous high end vintage & pre-loved pieces. Cheers!
Wow……I am impressed with that St John jacket…..I would have walked right pass that. You were so right! “Look for potential not for perfection”….such a wonderful catch phrase and great advice! I am here for it…just started shopping in my closet….I saved great pieces before child(24 years ago) was going to donate and sell but have decided to re-work and salvage as much as I can. Thank you for sharing and keep giving us this great content.
I'd totally support the American cancer society's discovery shops! Alas, there isn't a single one in Texas 😟 Thank you for the amazing inspiration as always! 😍
Annette, what a great video! I loved the velvet skirt with the vest and of course Ungaro... I‘m a very frustrated avid thrifter 😄 as in Switzerland there aren‘t many th-stores. I miss our 5 years living in S Francisco!
My vibe is Karl Lagerfield for Chanel. I want that black Liz top to wear over a white blouse and layer nedklaces a la Karl Lagerfield for Chanel in the 90's/.
I was also wondering what the brand/name of that skirt is. It looks like a brand named "Citron". I had a few silk velvet bias cut skirts by them in the 90s. LOVE their clothes. They do some really interesting prints as well as solids.
I take items in quarterly! I collect everything, drop off and pick up! It makes it easier for me to do only a few times a year and budget because it can get $$$.
Did not like the chunky turquoise. As a turquoise collector, I would go for something shorter on the neck. That necklace over a turtle neck would be fine.
The RL blue blouse is chef's kiss. That blue is your color!
Thank you for supporting the American Cancer Society. What a lovely and inspiring video.
Thank you so much! It is one of my favorite charity shops to support! Such an important cause :)
I love you!!! Youre beautiful, stylish, fun and so entertaining. Love your channel!
Thank you so much!!
LOVE your dress that you are wearing and the color ways you chose when thrifting, perfection! ❤
Thank you so much!! It's funny that I'm typically drawn to specific color palettes when I shop without even being mindful about it!
Absolutely perfection

The Discovery Shops are the best! When you shop there you are shopping for a cause. I definitely find higher end items there.
I totally agree! This is where thrifting truly makes a difference! Love their shops!

Ahhhh that flower dress at 15.00 gorgeous. I love the tops too.
I would've loved that first patterned long top.
Annette I thought about u yesterday, as I was thrifting. I had to "uglify" my cart, so that nobody would try to take my gems! ;)
Haha I love it! Protect those thrift gems!
I absolutely love 💕 the skirt that needs fixing at the waist! Gorgeous!!

The velvet skirt was my FAV so cool
Fabulous store I wish we had one like this...great finds.
I'm in love with the velvet skirt. Whose the maker, and how much was it? Thanks for sharing. Great haul❤

Soooo good!
That velvety skirt is so pretty! I also loved that blue shirt on you.
It is easy to become addicted to clothes for sure
The skirt!!❤ so gorgeous 😍
That white dress w the cropped bolero jacket looked amazing on you!!!
Thank you! It’s just too tight in the booty so I had to leave it behind sadly!
Love your ideas and all the pieces❤
Glad you like them!
The moschino bag was everything
The best! Love those shops. Enjoy
Annette I love that Ungaro dress! I found a vintage red heart bag by them, & it's fab.
Nice vintage style, i like sou much.
Love the shout to beth jones! 💕

I absolutely love everythinknyou picked . Chefs kiss ❤ and of course I am extremely jealous right now. Sad you didn’t get the St John’s cardigan
It was so good but couldn’t drop that much in one shop. It’s on my radar so I’ll def be looking for similar at the thrift store or eBay!
What a great video! Thanks for sharing your finds -- I especially love the Ungaro dress and that velvet skirt. Fantastic!
Two of my faves!
I found you through the Discovery Shop Instagram post. Your style is amazing and inspiring ❤. Looking forward to following your thrifting adventures 😊
Welcome!! Thank you so much for the kind note! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
What a fun shopping trip! Love your finds. I may have to head south on of these days and have a look at those shops!
You should! So many gems around here! :)
Annette what a great video! Now I’m gonna go check if they have a Discovery Shop in Ft. Lauderdale!
Fingers crossed they have one!
Are you the only shopper in there? I don't see anyone else shopping.😊
Loving your content ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
Your dress you are wearing is so beautiful. Is it a vintage piece? Who make it? I love it!!!!
I recently thrifted it and I believe it’s 90s!
How often Do you tailor thrifted items?
I take items in quarterly! I collect everything, drop off and pick up! It makes it easier for me to do only a few times a year and budget because it can get $$$.
👍
Manifestation is not real! God provided that item that you desired.

Calling your clothes ‘she’ is annoying to me
