Cockermouth Greenway parkrun 09/11/2024: Inaugural event #1

Event number 1 at Cockermouth Greenway parkrun on 9th November 2024
The course is generally flat, with a slight slope. Total elevation gain was 23 meters.
Out and back (twice) along a really nice footpath in Cockermouth.
The start is in a residential area with on street parking.

Great that another Parkrun has started but looks too narrow for an out & back.

@@davidbriers3947 I agree that's a concern with this course. I can imagine some accidents happening. It is narrow.

Looks very narrow for an out and back course. I think dogs on leads and buggies should be excluded , like they are at Nant y Pandy for example.

@mojofitz I agree, and they probably will end up doing that. I'm guessing most weeks, they won't have big numbers turn up, and it will be easier.
