Hey there from the U.S. I have the iDig coming for a steelwrist setup. Would you mind doing a video of the tilt sensors? I have yet to see any videos anywhere of how those work, and where you would place them with the tilt rotator.
Hi Mike, what size tilty do you have? To be honest I rarely use my tilt sensors but am on a job at the moment where I could show them off so will try and record something
@@Olliegunns hey thanks for responding! I have the steelwrist x12 on a jcb 86c. Right now it's tilt sensor capable only, but supposedly iDig will have the rotation sensor figured out for me in the next few months. Thank you for your videos. They have been very in-depth, by far better than any other videos about the iDig. I w as going to go with trimble, but after your videos, going iDig.
oldredcoonhound the system cost £6700+vat which includes fitting and setup. I paid extra to upgrade the laser receiver so it’s ready for the “grade to blade” upgrade and added the tilt sensors to the hitch. It’s paying for itself faster than the tilt rotator if I’m honest. The saving of not having a man on the staff checking levels and digging accurately first time doesn’t take long to add up in savings. I now work on my own completing work that previously would have taken 2 or 3 men to complete.
@@Olliegunns thanks, I'm in Canuckistan, the distributor didn't have any dealers outside of Ontario. Just found out that they may be selling through a business that I go through for my survey equipment. They haven't had any product come in yet so I will check with the business owner in a week or two about it.
I think you do a good enough job on the Digger you explain things very well.
Thanks Micheal, I try my best to show the good and bad bits of this new technology.
Great review thank you for your time ..
